Losing two Finals has actually helped Kobe's legacy believe it or not.

He is considered one of the greatest player to ever play the game and it took an all star team and 3 hall of fame lead dogs to unite, to beat him. Just look at these teams that were formed to dethrone one Kobe Bryant.

The entire squad ready to check in and they were beasting on the West team.

2) Kobe's 2004 (as favorites) v.s. great team
3) Kobe's 2008 (as underdog) v.s. all-time great team

Why do you have 5 alternate accounts and spend so much time loving Kobe? What do you get out of it at the end of the day in terms of productivity, upskilling, relationships, respect etc etc? Do you somehow in some deluded way think that people in real life actually judge you based on what sport team/player you like? No child, they are interested in your personality and your ability to express yourself confidently without sounding like an idiot. Perhaps you found a way to 'shut out' real life? Its all good till you realise your a 50year old obese shy virgin when you open that door again.

pretty much this. Although I don't even consider 2008 a choke.

I love posts like these.

Reminds me of a mom walking in on a fat kid jacking off. Just a reality check. Hilarious. I like 9erempire too. He's a young kid like me and I think he has potential in life. I notice he wants to be great and strives for greatness. I can tell.

Whatever hard time he's going through will pass and he will come out on top and remember this time in his life as a big learning experience and he'll be happy about it in hindsight.

That was a good one... I give you props.

This subject seems to hit a nerve though. Are you in denial that you're a loser?

Admission is the first step to recovery. Stop deluding yourself and seek help. Not all is lost. There is still hope for you.

2004, easily. That was a terrible series for Kobe. 2008 was not a choke. The Lakers faced a better team, and one of the best defensive teams of all time. Kobe just couldn't figure them out.

And for the idiots bringing up 2011, well, what can I say. That just shows your lack of basketball knowledge right there. Kobe was playing limited minutes all year due to a myriad of injuries (Phil limited him to 34mpg in the reg season). And then in the Playoffs to make matters worse he twisted his ankle against the Mavs, and it was basically game over. It had nothing to do with choking. He was playing on one leg and his numbers were down across the board. That whole Laker team was just gassed from three straight trips to the Finals. Who can forget about Gasol's miserable Playoffs that year? Phil even hit him in his chest during one game to try to wake him up. Did not work, he had checked out already.

Besides that Mavs team that the Lakers lost to was ON FIRE. Absolutely lights out throughout the Playoffs. I have never seen anything quite like it.

Was that a genuine question or just an attempt to shit on me?

Christmas in Oklahoma is legit bro. I've been hooping everyday, spending a lot of time downtown with two close friends from my child hood and just pondering about the future. Smoking weed. Taking pills. Trying to keep my head above water.

You know.

I like this time of the year. The atmosphere around the holidays inspires me.

Hows it going in your part of the world?

How's 2004 or 2008 a choke? 2004 they went up a great team and once Malone went down it was game over. 2008 they went up against an alltime great team and got outplayed from top to bottom.

2008 probably would have been different if we had Bynum. Probably 7 game series and possibly win series.

2004....that Detroit team was just superglued together.

2006(or '07?) up 3-1 against #1 seed Suns and losing was really bad. We overachieved and choked hard at the same time.
