Adleman has figured out how to keep the Pekovic artillery fully deployed amongst the powerful K threats of Love and Martin.

Blazers bringing that 22-4 record with a whole team of electrifying scorers Lillard Matthews & Batum & Mo. Lillard coming off one of the great performances of the season last night, 36 pts 8 rebs 10 ast & an amazing game winner 3 at the end.

Several positions will have key matchups:
Lillard's high powered scoring vs. Rubio sleek & stealthy D
Pekovic vs. Lopez
Love vs. Aldridge

Point: Kevin Martin has almost completely disappeared the last few games, plunging from 25ppg to almost nothing the last 3 games with sore knee.

Fresco's line........ assuming Love & Aldridge balance each other out, if the Wolves are gonna win this it will be pronounced in Montenegrin. Pekovic has always been a considerable overmatch for the Blazers paint, and Lopez isn't changing that. The Wolves' weakness in rim protection may give Portland the edge. That may well be countered by the terrific effort Portland showed last night against a burning hot Cleveland team that took them down to the last second.
If the Wolves can unleash some of their patented Love bombs to the fastest guy in the NBA Corey Brewer they may wear the Blazers out.

Adleman has been rotating the 3 bigs at center, nearly always 1 starter on the court. His rebounding has been the strongest asset so far, most centers are shell shocked when they play Pekovic so he's had it fairly easy. Dude is for real, still learning the system. He's been far out of position in several set plays but he's getting the rhythm and gonna be real real good addition as the season goes along.

edit ~ ~ if the Blazers don't double Pekovic he may very well explode on them. Lopez can't handle all that by himself

Love looks amazing tonight but Portland really is out of gas. That fact LMA managed to get his double double tonight is amazing. 4 games in 5 nights. I think one was OT too. It's a really factor. Damian Lillard missed 4 free throws tonight. That tells me it is a factor.
