I like your team, you have four players that will spread the floor for LeBron and any double team 9 out of 10 times lead to a field goal.

I will try to do mine and hope it adds up.

Rondo $11,954,545
Tony Allen $4,494,382
Durant $17,832,627
Anthony Davis $5,375,760
Deandre Jordan $10,986,550

Five great to elite defenders, this will only work if Davis can keep improving as a offensive threat.

Bench can be filled with scrubs and three point shooters.

are you an idiot or just have no idea that defense is part of the game too?
PG and lebron would feast on your starting 5 while playing great defense which is your team's big weakness.

This was mine and I'll give the reasoning behind it.

Lebron at 19m is probably the best non-rookie contract in the NBA and he does everything PG24 does and is better at everything except defense. The only star in the league even comparable to Bron is Durant and their salary is almost the same.

Stephen Curry is the best non-rookie contract for a PG in the NBA. He's an absolute steal at just under $10m and he's probably the best choice at PG to play alongside Lebron because of his shooting abilities and ability to play off the ball.

It is arguable that Davis is the best big man in the game right now and still under his rookie contract. It can't even be argued that PG24 is the best perimeter player in the league currently. Bron, Durant, and CP3 are all hands down better.

To explain my other picks:

Afflalo is performing at near Brandon Roy numbers (22/5/4) except he's a better shooter. He's also a pretty good perimeter defender and plays very well off the ball which is important when playing with Curry/Bron. At 8m, he's a steal.

I chose Amir Johnson because of he's athletic, efficient, and a good defender. He also sets really good picks which is important. He's extremely underrated and a steal at 6.5m considering the contracts teams are handing out to bigs these days.

CP3 isn't hands down better. In my opinion PG and CP3 are fairly close at 3rd and 4th overall best players in the league. Davis isn't even in the discussion for best player in the league.

Just because he's (arguably) the best big man in the league doesn't mean he's automatically the best player to pick when building a team. Plus he costs twice as much as PG, though their salaries are both a joke compared to their production.

Davis isn't in discussion for best player in the league, but neither is PG. The only reason Davis isn't considered better than George is because he's younger and proven less and he's on a shittier team.

CP3 is hands down better than PG, I don't think it's close at this point... maybe as the season progresses or next season if PG continues to improve. CP3 is having a historically great season as a point guard. 20/5/11 with 2spg on 59% TS and one of the best defenders for his position.
