If he finished the game v.s. Utah, and looked really explosive. Why on earth would he not play v.s. the Heat's only current rival or potential equal in the NBA right now? That seems incredibly soft to me.

Or it could be he's just hyping up the discomfort of the minor ankle tweak to further perpetuate his known diva status, and have an out for a poor performance. Much like the vague, enigmatic "elbow injury" in 2010.

My guess he'll play, but he'll have the built in excuse of the ankle discomfort if he performs poorly, or once again gets out played in the 2nd half by Paul George to deflect person criticism.

Where was the MUCH needed volume scoring on high efficiency that night from LeBron? Miami needed it.

Of course, but they took him to the locker room to check him out though. The second you release the tension of the sneaker, if the ankle injury is bad enough it is already swollen immediately.

If it was an injury that would be severe enough to actually keep him out of action a couple days with swelling subsided against the 2nd best team in the league, and Miami's only competition ... he wouldn't have been able to go back in and finish that meaningless game v.s. Utah.

Meaning the injury wasn't that severe. So your theory makes absolutely no sense, per usual. Try again to relentlessly defend LeBron.

Don't really care if he plays or not. It's his body, let him do what he wants. Anyways, Miami has been scoring more with LeBron off the court. Shouldn't his haters want him to sit and the Heat win? That'd be great trolling material for you guys.

Not defending Lebron. Just calling you out on your stupidity and your typical over-dramatic reaction to every little detail. Considering that he's had two dominant series against the Pacers, I'm inclined to believe him when he says his ankle has swollen rather than your theory of him being "scared".

If his ankles are fine, he should play. Otherwise, stay out. He'd be doing more harm than good to the team.

Not making any excuses. You have a sprained ankle and the peak of its pain is in it's 2nd and 3rd days after the sprain. It's December, and it's the regular season.
And he's simply "considering not playing". Losing this game wouldn't mean much TBH.

Heat lose to the Bulls all the time during the regular season with or without Rose...doesn't mean anything either..

Yea you are, you typically stay on his jock like your name was Savanna James. If you could actually read I said I expect him to play, but will surely use the discomfort as an out for potential poor play. Which is typical given LeBron's history with injuries or not even, discomfort, being used as a way to deflect criticism because of his soft mentality.

Notice, I'm not a LeGroupie like yourself, I'm upset because I want to see him play. I want to see elite, competitive basketball played out. You're getting your feelings hurt DEFENDING LeBron's possible decision not to play. With a red carpet of excuses already laid out.

You're the clown ass stan in this case. I just want to see great basketball. Meaning LeBron should be on the floor. You on the other hand are acting like Gloria James, in full defense mode.

As LeBron told her in the 2008 playoffs when she was this annoying, and over protective ... SIT YOUR ASS DOWN.

It's worse if you're that delusional you have such an alarming lack of self awareness.

BTW, reading comprehension is what was being defended. I wasn't arguing MJ's actual dick size, using pictures as proof of my point. It's also called being facetious, look it up.

LeBron stans like yourself were measuring up dick size of LeBron with photoshop from pics of him at a club.

Can't do what? I've already stated he's my favorite player right now.

In any case, it's you who seems to be lacking the reading comprehension. I said if he's healthy, I'd be pissed if he doesn't show up. But if his ankle is sore, and we have VIDEO EVIDENCE of him twisting his ankle, and he's limping across the floor, then don't suit up. I don't need him to play to try to be some type of hero that plays through injuries. He'd just be hurting the team.

And you got offended when someone said Pippen had a bigger dick than Jordan. That's how sad you are. Stop trying to deny it.

Whether or not he doesn't play doesn't matter.

If you want it to matter write to the NBA and get them to change the regular season to 40 games.

There is absolutely no incentive for any player on any of the top seeded teams (who are pretty much guaranteed to make the play-offs) to take even the smallest risk of getting injured just to win 1 game out of these ridiculously long 82 game seasons.

I don't even know why you people take these regular season games seriously.

i don't have a basement.
Those living in the basement generally don't call their basement a basement and typically there also isn't another basement under the (non)basement.

We all know that you would not be able to move for two weeks and your mother would've to assist you on the toilet if you ever managed to sprain your ankle by sitting in the basement.

I honestly think Lebron is lying about not being 100%

Because after he said that he was asked if he was at 75%

Lebrons answer: "Im not much of a percentage guy"

If Miami wins and LeBron does well - He'll get praised by the media for playing on a bum ankle

If Miami loses and plays poorly - LeBron has a legit excuse as to why he played so bad.

Win/win situation for LeDiva. :oldlol:

Nah he can, and he's good at it. That's why I think he's lying. Bron can calculate the percantage of any single or double digit number under 17 divided by any number under 17 on the spot.

Which is why he takes around 16 shots per game.

:facepalm

Exactly how did the thread fail?

Y'all are so sensitive. It's like you see a thread not slurping Lebron and you are like "man I hope this thread fails" and keep tabs on it and score it like its a sporting event in itself.

Lebron went on twitter today talking about how he might not play, he didn't confirm he was playing until 30 minutes prior to the game starting. Nobody thought at the time that a sprained ankle 2 days before the Pacers game would keep Lebron from playing.

So with an hour before the game and Lebrons status still up in the air, it was becoming a big deal wether he would play or not, especially considering the hype for this game.

As a fan of the NBA, I wanted to see the two best teams in the east (possibly the league) give each other their best shot in a game ive been anticipating all week.

It's RIDICULOUS that this has to be explained.

Then before the game Lebrons talking about not being close to 100% and then comes out as explosive as ever so it was like :wtf: why did his dramatic ass even act like he may not play..

OP is good people its the clowns like ripthekik whom we must troll. And you can start by pointing out the fact that bron> all of their messiahs. First it was kobe then it was rose then it was george and now they are starting to run out. Soon they will resort the likes of steve blake and jordan farmar after they exhaust all of their other options :lol
