If the refs officiate the Heat like they did 2 years ago, then sure, the Pacers will be the better team and get screwed.

I see where you're going...I agree, the better team (Pacers) gets screwed by the NBA and the refs to get the Heat into the Finals, just like how the Kings were screwed by Stern for ratings sake back then.

The Kings were better at every position other than SF and even than Peja was still a MVP candidate one year and a multiple All Star. I don't see the comparison maybe the only one could be that they might both loss to the big dog in Lakers/Heat.

This or the 93 Knicks. It's a great comparison. Both teams specifically maxed the most out of those seasons to get homecourt to beat their archrivals and defending champs(Bulls and Lakers). Both kept losing to them in previous playoffs by not having homecourt and finally got homecourt and both screwed it up. We'll see if the Pacers repeat this.
