some of the move is actually pretty good at first,
good footwork and first step for his size, and looks like a capable rebounder, i can see why he got 1st picked

No idea how he went first but in summer league against us he looked terrible for 3 quarters then dominant in the fourth. He has some moves just can't get it to go. I keep thinking he will get at least serviceable but it isn't happening yet

He's not fast or explosive enough to beat most guys in the NBA to the basket or off the dribble. Instead of 3 pointers he should play closer to the basket. 15-18 foot jumpers and garbage baskets (offensive rebounds).

Fact that he was drafted first overall nullifies this weak ass argument you are trying to make. You go first overall, you at least put up some stats and get playing time. This dude can't even see the court, and when he did he looked worse than nearly every player in the NBA. Look at the track record of dude's drafted that high who couldn't even produce in their rookie season. They all end up either sucking because they never really belonged in the NBA in the fist place, or they became grossly over drafted role players at the best.

Look I don't hate the guy, but when all your rookie big does is shoot threes and brick dunks/layups, there's little hope for him.
