Props for trying to take a charge there. Most NBA players would have just let Bron have the dunk.

Lol @ the announcer thinking it's Isaiah Thomas. The rook gotta know better than to try and take a charge when he's got a head of steam, I guess no harm done since no foul was called but that's not the side of a poster you wanna be on.

Real talk, that was  but where was this against Hibbert? Why does he only dunk on guards? I wanna see him do that against a 7 footer.

Same, and he definitely has the elevation and strength to do it.

Legs were both straight down when contact occurred. Which knee you talking about?

Hibbert intimidates the shit out of Lebron. I can't remember the last time Lebron dunked on someone over 6'6.

In baksetball, there is an area of the court referred to as "the paint". It is called this because it is typically painted with team colors.

Within "the paint" there is a smaller area under the basket referred to as the "restricted area". It is called this because it is an area and in many circumstances it is restricted for certain things, such as drawing charges. The exception is when the offensive player is already in "the paint" when he receives the ball.

It looks nicer from the side...But when you see it from overhead, you can tell he doesn't jump over him, more like to side of him leading with his knee...Still a nice dunk...

The game against the Pacers a couple of nights ago Lebron had a clear path to Hibbert and was so intimidated by him he hop stepped and traveled :oldlol: He's scared to death of him. This is dunking on someone...

This is stupid as fukk. I haven't even been watching much of the regular season right now, but just using my brain would tell me that the league's most athletic 6'9 player ever who also has a great handle would have a few dunks over 6'10 and up players easily.

You are becoming such a bad poster because of your blatant homerism.

How were any of those the poster dunks that fans keep questioning him about?

Here's what fans want to see, a proper poster dunk like this one on a legit 7 footer from a guy with balls:

It takes more than just dunking on someone to be considered a good dunker. Lebron fans like to say defenders are scared of Lebron.

Well, that's what made MJ and Kobe great dunkers, the ability to sneak up on a defender and put their nuts in the defender's face. Lebron doesn't have the ability to do that.

If a defender wants no part of you, you better find other way to sneak up on them and not just go at short guys trying to draw a charge.

Exactly.

Dunking on 7'2 rim protector >>>>>>> dunking on a short little guard who gets caught in the wrong spot

Don't understand why Jordan's dunk on Brandon Knight and Lebron's dunk on Terry got so much hype. Harrison Barnes dunk on Pekovic was far superior http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vheaw76ZClw

What do you mean it doesn't matter? Much higher degree of difficulty on the Barnes dunk. It's way cooler to dunk on a dude that's bigger than you. Come on, Jordan dunked on a guy that's literally a foot shorter :oldlol: what's the big deal? Would you lose your shit if you saw an oversized high school kid dunk on an elementary school boy? That's basically what Jordan's dunk was.

Big men dunking on guards just isn't that exciting.

I couldn't care less what the size difference is. Sure, guards banging on fowards/centers is a bigger deal but that doesn't discredit dunks that go the opposite direction. It's about style, power and flair first and foremost. If it looks good, it looks good. Period. :confusedshrug:

You're the type to overrate B.Diddy on Ak47, for that reason. If that happened outside the playoffs, it wouldn't even get that hyped. It was a pretty ugly dunk.

Remove Jrue Holiday from that video and it would look like the same dunk...his presence is utterly irrelevant. It's essentially a wide open dunk.

This is the best you could do? And :oldlol: @ "don't want to challenge for obvious reasons". They're not in position to challenge. Both times the defenders in the paint turn their heads and start to back up to avoid defensive 3 seconds which is when Lebron goes to the rim. It's obvious as hell in both clips.

Have to say, after seeing the news of the dunk as the centerpiece on the front page of ESPN.com, I was expecting competition for some of the best dunks of his career. Frankly, it's not even close.

This. I went out tonight and didn't get back until about an hour ago. ESPN is one of the two pages that automatically open up when I open my browser and I see the "Highlight of the Night" is a LeBron dunk over McLemore and all this "stuff" about the Heat winning a regular season home game against the Kings. My first thought was that this was on their front page for one of two reasons: this was the second game of the ESPN Friday night doubleheader (which made no sense since the game was in Miami), or that it was one of those dunks that's impossible to forget 10+ years from now. And, of course, neither of those are true.

Then I remembered it's ESPN. They have their own Heat dedicated writer/reporter and, to them, LeBron could take a shit, Instagram his shit, and they'd make a story out of it.

andremiller07
12-21-2013, 07:28 AM
2night was the best game I seen McLemore play, and he showed me mental toughness 2night and gave effort, after getting crushed he could have easily quit/been disinterested the dude came back played hard and had himself a good game.

Hopefully this is a good building block for him to turn his season around, props to LeBron that was just nasty as.
