Chicago Bull @ Brooklyn Nets
Los Angeles Clippers @ Golden State Warriors
Miami Heat @ Los Angeles Lakers
Oklahoma City Thunder @ New York Knicks
Houston Rockets @ San Antonio Spurs
Mainly due to the injuries only the 2 games in bold seems interesting
The Pacers should have been scheduled
I don't remember a Christmas day schedule so bad. Worst of the last 5 years?

Yes, it is. Looks real bad.
But except for Lakers x Heat (that means Kobe x Lebron) you can't blame NBA. I mean Nets and Knicks supposed to be good and Rose to be healthy.

Kobe isn't playing though, Heat are gonna steam roll the Lakers.
But yeah only two of those games are watchable, but I'm not gonna be watching any of them anyway :lol

Would be an entertaining Christmas if Kobe didn't get scared.

Well now that star players are injured it kinda makes it sucky (Rose, Kobe, Lopez I guess lol) but still good matchups.
How NBA viewed these games coming into the season:
Bulls vs Nets- Stacked Nets in Brooklyn, D-Will vs a healthy Derrick Rose.
Clippers vs Warriors- Cp3 vs Curry, fastbreak dunks vs fastbreak 3's exc..
Heat vs Lakers- ofcource LeBron and Kobe
Thunder vs Knicks- KD in Newyork vs Melo.
Rockets vs Spurs- Up and coming team vs veteran team. Howard vs Duncan, 2 flopping yet entertaining SG's in Harden and Ginobli.
Only game I won't watch is the Bulls vs Nets, all the other games are great to me.

Shame about the injuries, but should be Heat vs Thunder or Heat vs Spurs nevertheless.

Don't mistake yourself, Heat would steam roll with or without Kobe.

Thunder @ Heat was last year on Christmas.
Well Goatbrook and KD vs New York Chuckers should be good for us Thunder fans. KD to destroy Melo and Westbrook will do the rest of the team.

Yeah, definitely the worst schedule of possibly the past decade.

Should have kept Pacers Heat for Xmas.

I hated Heat vs Lakers before Kobe was even injured. I'm just not sure what the NBA expected a past prime Kobe coming off injury to do against the Heat by himself. It should have been Heat vs OKC, and Knicks vs Lakers.

Don't forget the ugly azz unis the teams will be wearing.

Lakers vs heat will be closer than most think... Lakers can really shoot the three and Miami sometimes have trouble containing shooters because of the trapping defense in pick and rolls

Don't sleep on the Lakers, they spread the floor well, and have more skilled players in the post (besides Bosh), and don't forget, they have 3-point shooting Pau Gasol
In all seriousness though, if the Lakers heat up, it could be an interesting game.
It was a good looking schedule when they made it... lol

Exactly. People out here trashing the schedule makers as if it was decided yesterday. :oldlol:

Lakers shoot well, spread the floor well and have skilled bigs and good rebounders but... They're biggest flaws are defense and turnovers and the one thing you absolutely cannot do against the heat is turn the ball over... Still can be an interesting game

NBA couldn't predict how bad some of these teams would be playing (injuries). Clips and Warriors will be good.
Even before Kobe got injured, it made little sense to do Lakers vs. Heat. The Heat were just way better. It would've made way more sense to do Heat vs. Spurs (Finals rematch) and Rockets at Lakers (Dwight's LA return). It comes down to the NBA basically just disrespecting the Spurs and not wanting them as the marquee matchup. While I can understand that a little bit, at least do Heat vs. Thunder then.

Thunder will destroy Knicks...
Looks bad on paper because of the injuries but all of these games will probably be entertaining. OKC knicks has great potential and the lakers will probably put up a fight since it is at home and they do have good chemistry sans kobe. If odds are good I might put some $ on knicks and lakers

So we have:
Bulls @ Nets - two non-playoff teams in the East
OKC @ Knicks - one of the best teams in the league vs one of the worst
Heat @ Lakers - champions vs non-playoff team
Rockets @ Spurs - sounds good but not too intruiging
Clippers @ Warriors - the only interesting matchup

You could make a championship team with all the major injuries from this schedule:
Bulls: Rose, Deng @ Nets: Lopez, AK47, Terry
OKC: none @ Knicks: Chandler, MWP
Heat: none @ Lakers: Kobe, Nash
Rockets: Lin @ Spurs: none
Clippers: J Redick @ Warriors: none
Rose, Nash, Lin
Kobe, Terry, JJ Redick
AK47, MWP
B Lopez
Chandler

I'm curious as to why no Pacers on X-mas day?

Because the NBA wants people to watch these games.

I was hoping the Rockets would play OKC on Christmas. It got pretty intense last season in the playoffs between the 2 and a Christmas Day game would of been fun to watch

I hate how the nba always try to match up lebron and kobe on christmas day. Those games are usually snooze fests. They are never really close. Why not match up the heat with the spurs or the thunder?

Same. It's frankly disrespectful to the Spurs. They should be the ones playing the heat on christmas day.
