Explain Your Fandom

I was just thinking about why posters here are fans of certain teams. Now obviously a lot of people are fans of the teams where they live, but I've noticed certain people (like me, and KG215 - Colts, Arkansas Razorbacks, OKC Thunder, Atlanta Braves) who are fans of teams all over the place. So I wanted to make a thread where we name our favorite teams and why they are our favorite teams.

NBA - Phoenix Suns (From AZ)
NFL - Buffalo Bills (GF is from Upstate NY, Love the Bills)
MLB - Pittsburgh Pirates (Really no reason, I just have always loved them since I was a kid).
NHL - New York Islanders (Same as above)
College Basketball/Football - Syracuse Orangemen (See NFL).

NBA, Orlando Magic - I live in Orlando so this is my team.
NFL, Miami Dolphins - Orlando doesn't have a football team so I picked the Dolphins.
NFL, Greenbay Packers - Fan of Rodgers for years, girlfriend is also a Packer Fan.
NCAAF, UCF - Where I go to school.

NBA Los Angeles Lakers - No NBA teams in England, always liked Kobe's game
EPL Arsenal - family are Arsenal fans

Also somewhat like the Tampa teams, being that I live here and none of them are really a direct rival of a team I like.

First full basketball game I saw on tv was a Hawks vs Bulls game and I liked the Hawks.

NBA: Lakers (raised in SoCal, grew up watching them and going to games)
NFL: Chargers (SD is almost a second home, also went to Qualcomm a lot growing up)
MLB: can't stay awake long enough to watch a full game
NHL: Kings (because LA)
MLS: Galaxy (because LA)
CFB/CBB: UCLA 1st, Mizzou 2nd (almnus myself, family alumni)
