Nah it's just KG was a elite defender and all around PF, Ibaka is a role player who can block the odd shot and can't really stop anyone so Perk always has to defend the oppositions best player something he struggles with.

Most the time he's guarding the best PF/C so that means he's not really worried about rebounding plus with WB/Durrant/Ibaka he shouldn't really need to rebound he's there to frustrate the oppositions best big since Serge can't do it and yet get's all the DPOY recognition.
