I haven't been following them at all. I wrote them off like everyone else, but they actually seem to be pretty legit in a loaded west. What is good about them? Isn't there best player Dragic or Bledsoe? Do they have really good defense to make up for having no all-stars? Or are they a deep team?
I don't understand.

just watch one of their 26 games win or loss they will play hard as hell and they will try to run you out of the gym. and they will do it consistently and relentlessly

They're just well balanced all around. Coach got them to play as a team and since they're all young they hustle on every play, dive for loose balls, etc. Basically, they outwork their opponents. Morris brothers are playing stupid good, bledsoe is a rising player, dragic is dragic (underrated pg who is solid in almost all categories, you have to watch him play to understand). Plumlee turned out to be a steal as well, he's been anchoring the suns defense and he can score too...great footwork, 40 inch vertical, awesome haircut, etc he is a legit bigman. Also, pj tucker has been playing lockdown defense too. Frye and green hit 3s, archie goodwin displays potential too

Exactly, this is the key. They don't give up. Before he was traded, Dudley used to be the only one diving for loose balls and going that extra mile...now the entire team plays with that same tenacity.
The other nigh, the cmentator mentioned that with the exception of omeka okafor, who has not played, the entire suns team has played less minutes than tim duncan

That's the impressive thing about the team really.
only 4 Suns left from last season, massive roster change and coach change.
As a Suns fan, to be honest, even I wrote them off as a lottery team for thie season. Shame on me. I was surprised as anybody.
Surprised to see how well the coach get them to play together.
Their willingness to pass.
Everyone on the Suns first and second team can shoot the ball.
Everyone hustles, coach getting the entire team to play defense.
Dragic developing as a on court leader.
Bledsoe, Plumlee maximizing their opportunities to play as starters this season. (Bledsoe has the talent obviously, Plumlee is well skilled for a big)
Morris bros' chemistry on the court is insane. See the lop passes from Marcus to Markieff.
Goodwin's a fearless 19 YO.
Flying under the radar, this young team always give in their best and outrun everybody on the court. They dont let up.
And the coach taking all these pieces and putting them in place, in one.
Alot of things to improve on though. But can't complain about their plays so far

McDonough is a terrific GM and Hornacek is a very good coach. In one offseason they've largely turned this team around from the mediocrity seen last season. They still have holes and need to upgrade at certain positions but they are fun to watch.
Mostly they're a young team that wins because they don't know any better. They'll give anyone a run for their money, win or lose they are super fast, athletic and play #YOLO style. Dangerous spoiler team.

Great group of young players. Suns rarely have any players who are bad locker room guys (Beasley last year but they made sure they put an end to that). I think there is great culture in that organisation. Suns could have been stuck in the doldrums for a long time with the roster they finished with last season ala Kings,Bobcats,Bucks but check out the last 5 or so trades they made.

Gotta love the way they play the game :applause:
I had them ending up last in the west and tanking for the 1st pick. I was wrong :D
Bledsoe improved his shot immensely and became a beast.

6 players averaging over 10 points a game(and 2 more players right on the verge over hitting that mark)
That's what you call unselfish play. There are no ball-hogs on the Suns. Everyone gets their share of shot attempts. They enjoy playing together and want to see each other do well. They're athletic as hell and work hard all game long. They also have some scrappy defenders who don't let anything come easy for other teams. They're leading the league in fast-break points and love the run-and-gun style of play.
Also having both Bledsoe and Dragic on the team is HUGE for them. They're both extremely similar players averaging almost the same exact stats, and when they're both on the court it makes their offense very hard to stop. Also since they both play PG and are very good at the position, it's like the Suns have an all-star caliber PG on the court nearly all game long because it's rare that both of them are resting on the bench at the same time, so this keeps the offense flowing the same even when there's bench players out there.

They made trades with "win now" teams, took advantage of the sense of urgency of that teams, and won by far every trade.
Oh and having a young coach instead of one of the same ones must help also.
