If I were to pick without knowing PG would turn out to be this great, I'd pick Wiggins due to sheer potential alone. Of course it's all just potential in the end.

To be fair if you made this comparison with Paul George being drafted vs Carmelo Anthony? Everyone would label the thread a troll alert and pick Melo. Fast forward to 2013 and its not so funny afterall?

I'd take Andrew Wiggins. His potential is on another level compared to George. And I love Paul George.

Wiggins at number one with the right coach can be a great 2 way player like PG is. Wiggins has the athletiscm to be a beast defensively while also scoring 20 PPG.

Personally I hope the celtics are able to James Young at Kentucky. that kid is going to be a VERY GOOD SG out the gate.

Why does everyone insist on putting limits as to how good Paul George can be? He has completely transformed his game in the past few years. Who is to say he can't continue to improve?

If contracts are the same, of course you take Paul George. George right now is a legit All NBA player. Wiggins has the potential to be that. Even if the % of failure is low with Wiggins, it's still there.

Now if the question were Wiggins now starting on his rookie deal or George on his current deal with a huge extension to take effect soon, then it becomes an actual decision.

PG easily. Now I will take Parker over PG though. Wiggins has been underwhelming.

I would take Jabari Parker over Paul George every day. George is a nice player, not a superstar. JP is gonna take over the NBA next year.

Do you have any idea how insane you sound right now? Do you have any idea how good Melo actually is? Or that Pierce is somehow bad? Let's just say, if Parker peaks as high as either, I'll be surprised.

Nope, I understand just how good Melo is, he played for a division rival for most of his career.

I wouldn't be surprised, because Parker is a player with superstar potential. From the very first time I saw him, I knew he would win an nba scoring title. He's that good, take notice

Trust me everyone here knows how good pierce was. However, people can argue he was never the best at his position, or a top 5 player in the league. Jabari will be a top 5 player for most of his prime, you have been warned

College basketball doesn't suit Andrew Wiggins that good. NBA he'll be doing what he does best run,transition,and he'll be even more motivated.
Jabari will be the best right away but not in the long term
Joel Embiid is a hit or miss , he's either the next great big man like a agile version of marc gasol or he's a taj gibson.
