Sunbeam high end.
On the cheap, Conair is hard to beat. Andis > wahl. If you have a 20 year old Wahl model that has been kept, then that is as good as any. Unfortunately they are built so cheap now, even if you have good luck, it's hard to honestly recommend them to anyone.

Andis is the shit. Been using their clippers to cut my hair for the past 4 years with great results. I just need to learn to fade my own hair >.<

The Andis t-liner is awesone. I shaved my friends pubes with high end Wahl clippers and it kept pulling hairs. I don't reccomend them.

agree with you about modern clippers/trimmers

always recommend that people look for new "old stock" trimmers/clippers/blades
even the modern andis t outliner (with the long on/off switch) is trash

I used to be strictly wahl......but now only use old school andis products...

best way to learn is to get get haircut from good barber

take pics......and 3-4 days later try to tighten it up


I asked this question on the nba forum..now that duncan is divorced, who is gonna cut his hair.....he always looked like his wife cut his hair in the bathroom

I have experience with both. Local barber started acting like a fool jacking up prices for cuts arbitrarily. One day I'd walk in it'd be $10, 2 weeks later he wants $18 for the same cut :biggums:

So decided to do it myself. Used Wahl for a while, wasn't happy with the results. Switched to Andis, been gravy since. They make some quality products.

Exact same thing happened to me. The price went up by $5. I watched a few Youtube vids and learned to fade myself.
