What are some of your favorite pedals to use? My personal favorites:
Dunlop JC95
Digitech Whammy Pedal
Line 6 FM4 Filter Modeler
Banshee 2 Talk Box (not really a pedal, but an effects unit)
What are yours?

I currently use a Boss MT 2 distortion pedal. I'm looking to upgrade though. Would also like to have a wah pedal.

I haven't given a name to the things I made. Just experimenting with different circuits. But that is what a DIY effect is all about. More fuzz here, more tone there, more overdrive, etc. A good custom pedal has the advantage of being tuned for the guitar/pickups and amp/preamp a person would use. The last one I made had 2 stomps and a pedal, maybe a TIP35 and capset on the pedal which was a nice overall boost to over-ride and clean every delay while keeping the distortions intact. IDK, been 6 years or so since I last touched the inside.
I'm not sure how well kept it is now, but I was the original owner of www.ssguitar.com, and it used to be a great community for getting started with DIY stuff, amps, ect. Especially since pedals/stomp boxes are just extensions of the amp itself.

Not big into pedals as i'm primarily a bassist but I LOVED this little guy right here.

I always wanted (still do) the rack mount line 6 bass pod. It was like 750$ when it came out, not sure if they still make it. Can't justify it nowadays. I heard you can really do some fun sh*t with it.
