Lebrons overrated defense got exposed. Every FG Swaggy made was on Lebron. Lebron was 0-7 outside of the paint but very efficient on 2 on 1, fastbreaks and alleyoops.

His athletic looking 'chase-down blocks' from a few years back vastly overrated his stock as a defender.

Honestly, LeBron's on-ball defense is solid.

During the '11 ECF, dude held Rose to 6.3% shooting in 4th quarters
Held Melo to 38% in the 2012 playoffs (54% against Battier)

I'd say his awareness when it comes to rotating and being in the right spot and ability to create turnovers (transition from defense to offense) is where he really makes his impact.
