Thread title.

I think the Lakers would improve. They need a PG badly right now. I bet this Lakers squad would be much better with a true PG like Rubio directing the offense.
I mean, look how well they were playing with Steve Blake. The squad has enough shooters and overall offensive threats to utilize Rubio's passing ability.

Lakers do. Kirby needs a PG to be so he can concentrate on shooting.

no. Heat need a PG that is a deadly spot up shooter.

Kyle Lowry - I'm not sure.

Rubio is a much better passer and playmaker but Lowry is a much better scorer. Lowry is solid on defense and I haven't watched enough of Rubio this year to compare that part of their games. Rubio would probably get Amir and Valanciunas easier points but his god-awful perimeter shooting would also lead to those guys getting doubled more with the ball.

No. The Heat need a shooter at PG.

Pacers:

Its hard to say. Rubio may be better than Hill on the offensive end, but will be a liability on defense

Rubio is an excellent defender, he is a horrible shooter though

Mavs...don't think so. Calderon just fits better. 12/5 in 30 minutes while shooting 48/48/89...subpar defense, but the perfect fit next to Monta offensively. Underrated player imo.

Pacers do NOT need Rubio....They need a shooter, defender, complimentary player at the point which they have in Hill....

Yea but we need to tank so I'll pass.

Pacers need someone who can throw entry passes and doesn't turn the ball over under pressure. That's it.

Great defender isn't a must as much as great shooter and passer. Ball handling is a given.

Nah.

Kyrie > Rubio, regardless of his slow start to the season.

I also don't think we have enough good scorers outside of Kyrie for Rubio to be a good fit here.

Rubio would be a disaster on the Cavs. We're already short on scorers and we have arguably the best pure scoring PG in the league.

Finding Alonzo Gee for open looks isn't going to help anybody.

Nah his lack of floor spacing and inability to be a threat just means you can double Gay/Cousins and on top of that none of our big's know how to roll to the rim making him completely useless.

This season Isaiah Thomas>>>>>>>>Rubio
