Leave them all alone.

Gotta admit, this game was quite boring but most of those free throws were deserved. Harden is crafty at drawing the foul, I'd be worried if I were him tho because his style of play attracts injuries.

I'll admit I didn't watch the game but that's ridiculous.

I've said it before Harden doesn't play to score. He play for the fouls.

I don't like his game but its basketball. If I was reffing this game I probably would've stopped blowing my whistle for him

Please elaborate. How can someone play for fouls? Fouls=Points...Points=Scoring so therefore your post makes no sense. He is playing to score.

Z-Bo went off on the refs after the game. Fine coming..

Randolph, who had a team-high 23 points and 17 rebounds, said the officiating played a big role in the loss.

''It was the refs tonight,'' said Randolph, who received a technical late in the fourth. ''Eight against five. The game in the second half, a man was shooting free throws every time. We were out there playing hard, and they were dictating the game. It can't be like that. We are out there playing, too.

''It was horrible refereeing, it was a horrible game they reffed tonight. Awful. They dictated the game. We are out there working as hard as them.''

What I'm saying is he's always trying to draw a foul. I've seen plenty of times were he would ha easy bucket but he would make it difficult by trying to create contact to draw a foul on the defender.

If you're going to put him on the FT line, might as well send him to the floor. Maybe he won't be so inviting of contact next time he comes through the lane. From a coaches perspective, I'd be embarrassed if I gave up that many FT's to one guy.

Grizzlies were playing bad defense. Aggressive defense... but bad defense. That combination creates a lot of fouls.

They'd let Harden get to the rim at will, and then bump, slap, hack, etc. after they'd get beat off the dribble.

Dwight only played like 2 minutes in the second half because the refs gave him his 5th foul about 2 minutes into the second half. So it goes both ways.

They didn't get called for a foul every single time. He was just attacking the basket that much. He couldn't get shit to fall from outside so he did what you're supposed to do and that's attack the damn basket. He wasn't fishing for contact, they were fouling him. He wasn't selling shit because those were legit fouls. I guess you'd rather him keep chucking up jumpers?

Harden is so smart getting the contact on his drives. he gets beat up for it but he's basically mastered contact while driving. a lot of other guards in the league need to learn it. he had that one drive where the defender is reaching his arm down low for the ball while its cradled, and Harden lifts the guys arm up to his neck and gets the call.

Lin is a beast too. he doesn't get enough respect by NBA fans in general.

all of the greatest guards go for contact on the drives. the ones that don't will never be great. no guard is going to make all or even most of his drive attempts legitimately.

20 points on 8 field goal attempts seems pretty efficient to me. :confusedshrug:

Don't see how that's anywhere near a 15 turnover performance? What Harden did was a positive thing, game-wise. I don't see how you could turn it around on him any other way.

On one bad call, Harden pulled a move he’s fond of – grabbing his defender’s arm to draw foul

And I've never buried my head in the sand and tried to deny Durant doing that is cheap. I've admitted many times I don't like him doing that. Yet there's several of Rockets fans in this thread claiming Harden'smFTs last night were legit.

He does it quite a bit when a defender reaches in. Generally it's already a foul before he grabs on to sell it. In that situation Johnson kind of body checked him while he was bringing the ball up the court. It was poor defense since they were already in the penalty.

Most of the fouls were legit. Harden is relentless at attacking the basket and many times he gets no calls even when fouled. And sometimes he gets a call when there was not one. He puts a lot of pressure on refs. Also his flopping does not help his reputation but he is not the only star that does it. Hate the game, not the player.

Most of them were legit, other he exaggerated the contact aka every superstar in the nba.

The difference is that Memphis is used to play very physical every game and most of the time they get away with it, because they know the NBA will swallow the whistle if to many fouls are call, so later on games they can play with lot of physicality, just like Sloan's Utah used to play defense.

If Memphis is call they right way every night, most game will be like.

Don't blame Harden for taking advantage of the new NBA rules, if they don't like they can switch it back to 80's basketball or don't foul under the new rules.
