I could agree with KD and maybe CP3 at this point. LMA is so inefficient though. The system around him is winning games, not him.

ok. so now Bron is MVP, East will become stacked, and Bron will have less help than LMA, KD, and CP3.

You might as well crown LeBron the MVP now

Meanwhile LeBron and the Heatles are on a 19 game win streak against the Western Conference which includes wins against OKC, Spurs, Lakers, Clippers, Portland. :lol
but but stacked conference right. :facepalm

For a number of reasons, but for starters...a 23/11/3 52% TS player that doesn't play great defense is not good enough for MVP consideration over Lebron...that's a ****ing joke.
Don't care about his teams' record...it's not good enough at 24-5 to warrant him over a guy that is clearly better and leading his team to a very similar 22-6 record.
Paul is disqualified on team record alone. No way could you give Paul the MVP over Durant at this point. Durant is playing as good or better...and his team has a significantly better record at 23-5 vs 20-11.
It's between Lebron and Durant to date. CP3 and Paul George would be at the 3rd and 4th spot.
So, uh, no...LMA and Paul have no argument over Lebron. Especially not LMA...total joke.
Inferno
12-27-2013, 02:53 AM
LMA only has a case because he's come up big and insanely clutch in close wins. CP3's team isn't winning enough.
Durant is arguable, but he's been a little off the past few games.

Lillard the clutch gawd deserves some votes..
Take bran off the heat and Miami still gets a top #2 seed. Yep real valuable.
I'm not arguing his talent level, it's not "best player" as we've been told other years..(else Kobe would have at least 5)..

MVP is really a two man race between Lebron and LMA if he can get his points up to about 25 a game and the Blazers finish with a top 2 record. I would be shocked if anyone else won.

I honestly would lmfao if Aldridge won an MVP before Durant. That would be too good :oldlol:
this happens every year. other players get consideration but after all-star break lbj seperates himself from the rest. and its going to happen again
LMA = Has no case for MVP over Lebron or KD mostly because of a guy called Lillard & Co (you dont even know who the best Blazers player is) and because of his productions/impact which fails in comparasant to Lebron/KD....
CP3 = Has no case for MVP over Lebron or KD mostly because of team record and productions/impact somewhat....
Right now its between only Lebron & Durant.... then there is a gap....
PS: Lebron/Miami does actually even better against Western Conference teams.

No. Just no. Aldridge is not playing well enough individually to be a legit threat at this point. He'd have to play significantly better individually or the Blazers would have to win like 7 or 8 more games than the Heat...and Lebron would have to fall off.
LMA is at 23/11/3 52% TS (that is just poor efficiency)
Durant is at 28/8/5 63% TS...and is just clearly a far better player.
Lebron is at 25/7/7 67% TS...and is just clearly a far better player.
If the season ended today and LMA won MVP...it would be the biggest joke for the award in it's history.

Shows how much you have been watching Blazers games
Aldridge has been for the most part dominant, particularly in 4th quarters and a big reason why this Portland team is rolling.
Being a player stan which you are, I'm not suprised by your consistent lack of knowledge...

That's what I was saying. If LMA improves his scoring numbers and the Blazers finish with a great record, then I see him competing for it as the only real star on his team. But right now it's Lebron and it probably will be Lebron when it's all said and done.

KD won't win it
I'll give it to Paul George or LMA.. remember this is MVP award and it usually goes to the player that makes his team win games COMPARED to last season

Depends on how you define "real star"
Lillard is at 21/6/4 57% TS...and has been super clutch like LMA as well.
But again, his numbers are good, but not great...and his team isn't doing enough better than the Heat or Thunder to warrant giving an inferior player the award. If they win like 65 games and LMA ends with like 24/11/3 55% TS and the Heat or Thunder win 57 only...then yea...he might have a shot.
But all we have so far is what we've seen. And LMA would be 5th in MVP voting right now imo.
KD won't win it

I am not even sure if they are their teams MVPs... Hibbert is great offensively and defensively might even win DPOY this year.... and Lillard has been just as amazing as LMA.... If LMA is the MVP of Blazers then Griffin is arguably the MVP of Clippers aswell right now....
Its only between Lebron & KD right now... trust me... it has been like that for a long time and it will continue...... they are the best players, most productive players, most dominant players, with one of the best team records... and are the CLEAR MVPs of their teams.... there is zero discussion here, nobody should be above them....

You probably have Kobe above him too, because he's purposefully stepping back to allow him teammates to grow and get better. MVP for making his teammates better! Last year it was the Kobe assist, missing shots on purpose to allow his bigs to get rebounds. He never stops giving.

10 years from now when another stud falls one vote short of unanimous MVP, you'd be the dude justifying a less superior player by saying "his teammates aren't as good" or "Let's give it to someone new"
Be truthful to yourself...are they really having a better season then Bron? Think about it
