West, Baylor, Malone, Stockton, Wilt, and Dr.J come to mind first. I know Wilt lost 4. Dr.J lost 3. Though he swept the Lakers in 83 so im sure that closed the gap. Bird made it in I think 81, 84, 85, 86, and 87. A couple went to seven games and he lost in 2. Hes probably 16-15 or so.

Dirk is .500 I guess.

Unseld and Hayes made it in I think 75, 78, and 79 and only won one but got swept in 75 and nearly swept in 79. And I think they won in 7 the year they did win so they would be under .500. And Unseld was there when they lost in Baltimore too so hes under by more than Hayes.

Kidd won once and lost twice.
Won in 6 lost in 4 and 6.
So hes under .500

Bob Pettit im sure is under .500. They made it 4 times in 5 years and lost to the Celtics 3 of them and beat them with an injured Russell in 7.

I may be forgetting a few.

Lol, dont agree with something that you have no idea about. He counted 04, when Shaq was still there.

In the 2008, 2009, 2010 finals, Kobe-led team was 10-8. Sorry, only Lebron will make this list:roll:

Well, some of you prepare to be shocked, but Magic has a marginally negative record when it comes to Finals' games, not series.
Of course, this wouldn't happen if his '83, '89 and '91 squads were healthy enough.

Lebron couldn't cut it as a first option, poor beta bran had to LePiggyback wade (batman)

04 Kobe was the Lakers leading scorer in the regular season and playoffs. Shaq led both in 2000, 2001, and 2002. Considering he was also taking 18 shots a game to Shaqs 14(21 to 14 in the playoffs) its fair to call Kobe the first option at that point. Not that its a big deal considering record in finals games as a first option doesn't matter to anyone on the planet.

And I was wondering about Magic. I know he made 8 and went 5-3 but the wins were in....I thnk 6, 6, 6, 6, and 7. The losses were in 4, 7, and 5 I think. I don't feel like doing the math at the moment.

Do you talk like that offline? Serious question. I often wonder. I have friends who have posted here and they post exactly the same way they talk.

Do people like you say beta bran and Lewhatever and all that talking in real life?

Guy a whole back would always call Kobe "KoME Cryant" and I just...couldn't picture anyone saying those words with their mouth. IVe also seen Dick Noskillski. Always kinda cringe.

I feel like id have heard someone do it by now if they did....but perhaps I don't frequent places it would be done. Just stood out to me.

I think ___ason Kidd or __irk is about as far as that type of thing should go.

This is just a more indirect way for a Lebron butthurtian / Kobetard to create basically a "Lebron 11 Finals / Lets poke at Lebron as Lebron haters" thread.... The OP knows there are millions of players who had a minus record in the Finals ..... He just wanted to put Lebrons name in there somehow / hopefully making it a thread about Lebron...

1980 Beat the Sixers 4-2 (4-2)
1982 Beat the Sixers 4-2 (8-4)
1983 Lost to the Sixers 0-4 (8-8)
1984 Lost to the Celtics 3-4 (11-12)
1985 Beat the Celtics 4-2 (15-13)
1987 Beat the Celtics 4-2 (19-15)
1988 Beat the Pistons 4-3 (23-18)
1989 Lost to the Pistons 0-4 but played 3 games (23-21)
1991 Lost to the Bulls 1-4 (24-25)

I didn't realise he went to the Finals 6 out of 7 years

Just curious as to what is the point of this?

To suggest that somehow West was some kind of a "loser" is ridiculous.

I would counter that, generally speaking, the more a player gets to the Finals, the more successful his career has been.

ive always wondered what brans finals record would be if he didn't join the leagues best players, 0-20 aint far fetched, still ranks solid on this list nevertheless
