NBA refs are horrible. Probably the wort in all sports. It makes the game unwatchable sometimes.

Absolutely agree.

That game was terrible to watch and the Grizz got jobbed.

Who really ares about the Grizzlies anyways though? Not really a relevant team, atleast it didnt happen to a team that matters like Thunder, Pacers, etc...

We don't play defense so there's no f*cking way we could've fouled them lol.

Mello need to go to OKC because that's where they give out them freebie foul cards cause he can't buy them any place else. You can mug Mello and nobody see a dam thing.

Dwight had five fouls by the third qtr and he should be putting his blame elsewhere anyways. No one on Memphis could stay in front of Harden and they fouled as he blew by them. Memphis was very aggressive defensively.

I watched the game & it was awful. Not just the calls for Harden either, they awarded Houston the ball a couple times when it was obviously to Memphis, awarding flopping, and when Brooks hurt his ankle & fell they called a foul on Conley.

Just a really bad officiating game and it happens too often in the NBA. Coaches should really have challenge flags or something to hold the refs accountable for bad calls. I forget what sport it is where they send reviews to a 3rd party who makes the final call. But the NBA needs something like that so refs dont have to waste time during the game reviewing video.

Not that I like Houston and Harden with their constant flopping, but Memphis clutches and grabs on defense all the time.

@ 1st paragraph

Who cares? Dwight got called for 3 bs fouls and was forced to sit most of the game. He had 5 fouls by the start of the 3rd quarter. Both teams had bad calls against them, get over it. Most of the fouls called in favor of Harden were legit fouls anyway. Memphis doesn't know how to play defense, they kept reaching in.

At least MLB umpires are consistent with their bad calls. If they are calling a pitch out of the strike zone a strike, they afford it to both teams. In the NBA, the refs blatantly help certain teams.

Here's a ref that actually kicked a ball to save it from going out of bounds for the Heat, and let them play on.
