The Triggerman Allan Caidic once scored 79 points in the PBA. He was one of the best shooters in Asia during his prime.

He also scored 54 points against some NBDL and former NBA players.

it doesn't really matter, because if anyone put in as much work as he's done they'd be better. I've seen NBA players on videos make something like 60-70 NBA threes out of 100, this guy can make over 100 NBA threes in a row.

I mean c'mon, he took over 24,000 shoots and he made 99% of them or something like that? That's insane.

He was at the Kevin Boyle camps i used to attend when younger, also i believe one of the Rutgers bball camps i attended. Literally this guy just drains them effortlessly

Sarcasm or what? If you're shooting thousands of shots in a row for a day, and this is all you do becuase you're not in competitive basketball, what's the f*cking point to jump as high as you can to shoot the ball? You don't need any lift. :oldlol:

Dude thinks he could have been like Steve Kerr, Let be real here, this dude has 0 athleticism. Steve Kerr would beat this dude 100 times out of a 100. Making shots alone isn't the tough part of the NBA, its doing it with athletic superfreaks guarding you.

His jump 2 inches off the ground jump shot would be impossible to shoot in the NBA or even in D1 college.

Yea but on the other hand, imagine there are guys with at least 90% as much skill at shooting as he has, that are probably taller and have 36+ inch verts. If nobody in the NBA was superwet then that dude would have a job, but since it's not a huge drop off (as well as we don't know how he'd handle the physicality), he can't play in the NBA.

Edit: and his banging those 3s is impressive to me. The consistency of his FT line jumper is not as impressive because I can hit those pretty reliably (even tho I am a subpar shooter; I get wet as long as I am within about 16 feet), especially with someone rebounding for me. Not like him, but well enough to know that's pretty possible for anyone who practices. It's just an arm motion. When you get out to about 23 feet, it's much harder because your whole body needs to be into it.

Because Larry Bird jumped so much on his shot.

Because Larry Bird jumped so much on his shot.

Larry Bird was 6'9 with a high release. This guy is a full foot shorter than that and releases it pretty much from the forehead.

Depends. Is Boris Diaw giving him five feet?

Definitely not the best shooter to ever not make the NBA. Look up Tim "The Target" Sullivan.

Never got an opp and was dominate in 40 and over Olympic teams. Guy went like 64-65 from NBA threes in the tournament.

Get your facts straight before posting BS.

Oscar Schmidt is the best shooter that never played NBA basketball. He had offers though so I am not sure whether you want to exclude him because of that

That has what to do with the amount of elevation? Mullin didn't jump either.

Well, he's an exhibition shooter, but I can't believe some here talk seriously about his lack of hops. The guy is 55...

BTW, other names to consider: Ted St.Martin, Ed Palubinskas.

If you can't gain elevation, your shot will be blocked with regularity

Its probably because all he works on is shooting with no one guarding him and getting no elevation whatsoever. NBA players have to work on numerous things, dribbling, footwork, passing, conditioning etc. They cant just focus all their energy on a small facet of the game.

not at 5'10", I don't care how quick your release is.

A 6'10 Steve Novak has been frozen out of an entire series before.

He won't be able to get shots off because even a late rotating player could still get the ball coming out.
