Then why are you proposing this retarded trade?

It's not retarded. The Cavs get a good player they can use. The Lakers get an expirer. It works out for both teams.

How fast these laker stans forget how much they hated him and wanted him traded. You hated him because he was always injured, he still is. You hated his immaturity playing bowling and carrying girls on his shoulders when he was 'recovering'. Traded him for Howard then you found out how 'immature' he was too when you were losing.
Now they want this immature injury prone guy back. What makes you think he wants to play with Kobe if he can't get over Irving's ballhogging ways? You're nuts if you think Kobe will ballhog less than Irving, you're nuts if you think the organization will back up Bynum over Kobe when he just signed that ridiculous extension.

How can they use Meeks when they have Irving, Waiters, and Jack?

Irving and Jack are PGs. Waiters is their only true SG. Meeks can shoot the 3 ball lights out, something they lack.

Bynum is an expirer. Lakers wouldn't expect much out of him. Just let him expire. You seem awfully upset.

I like it. Nash is pretty much done as a major player in this league, but he could help out a lot as a steady veteran presence in the lockerroom, especially with our two young dynamic guards. Meeks would provide some shooting, which the Cavs desperately need.
Our only veterans currently in the rotation are Varejao (who speaks very broken English), Jack and Miles. Those guys aren't exactly known for their leadership qualities.
I think I'd do it.

Only thing that the Cavs want from the Lakers might be X. Henry, we don't have minutes for another guard but we do need a sf. Not sure if the Lakers would be willing to give him away though.

Cavs will not take Nash and Meek for Bynum dumb a$$. This is the dumbest trade scenario ever :facepalm
"The Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers have had discussions on a trade that would involve Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum, league sources told ESPN.com.
No deal is believed to be imminent, but both sides are mulling it over ahead of a Jan. 7 deadline when the second half of Bynum

you guys aren't getting Pau just for a Bynum cut. Waiters has wanted a trade and isn't very happy coming off the bench. he's the Cav's most expendable, disgruntled asset that IMO makes perfect sense in this deal. Pau still has value, quite a bit probably, despite him sucking.

Waiters has flatly denied asking for a trade and there has been no actual sign that the Cavs are trying to deal him.
Furthermore, even if he did want out and the Cavs agreed to trade him, that particular deal would make no sense. We're going to trade arguably our second best player who is 21 for Gasol, who is out of his prime and likely only has a couple years left in the league, at most?
For Waiters to be included in any deal with any team, we'd have to get young talent or future assets back.

I'm not sure why the Lakers aren't pushing Nash as the main piece of the trade.
Gasol expires at the end of the year so it doesn't hurt them to keep him.

Why not keep Gasol then his contract ends this season? You give up Meeks one of your best players for nothing :confusedshrug:

Meeks expires. And he's in a contract year. I rather have Nick Young off the bench than Meeks once Kobe comes back to start.

Meeks is a good player especially under the Dumbtoni offense and he loves LA, he'd definitely resign with us no need to trade him.

Meeks is a volume shooter dude. He won't get that many shots once Kobe comes back. It's Young's unit off the bench. Meeks doesn't have enough swag to handle that role. We've already seen it that year when the Lakers had the league worst bench and Meeks was the best player coming off it. :oldlol:
