no pun intended

Doubt any of y'all been keeping up with him since he's in the Bobcats, but if you ever get the chance, he's been posting big numbers on assists this season (4.4 APG).

Here are just a few of what he's been doing this season:

He is pretty good.

I have in in a few of my fantasy teams, he's been awesome in one of my Assists to turnover leagues since he does at about 4:1.

He keeps the offense moving, whenever he gets the ball he looks up for an inside pass, then he looks to screen and dish off to the guard Just a good player to have since he is incredibly unselfish and always looking to involve his teammates.

He works great in the Bobcats system, they use him well and they use him alot.

So many of the Bobcats players are underrated. McRoberts is good and can hit the 3 pointer.

He's deceivingly athletic too. Really the only thing is his inconsistency. Cant be shooting 41% for a big man.

Didn't dude win the dunk contest in High School?

McBob is a freak of nature no doubt about it.

Do you honestly watch his games?

He doesn't make alot of baskets close to the hoop, in fact he doesn't shoot the ball a whole lot. 6 of his 8 shots today were 3 pointers, so the shots he does take are lower percentage shots.

He is more a Ryan Anderson type player, minus the 3point accuracy and better passer.

McRoberts averaging over 4 assists a game this year? Impressive.

Varejao is an underrated passer, especially in transition.

I would be inclined to agree. From the few Bobcats games I have seen, he has always looked solid with a pass first mentality and dropped some ridiculous passes.

not sure if hes the best but hes definitely up there for a big man.. Pau and Joakim Noah are pretty good as well.

Remember, Cho flipped Carroll into Mcroberts.

One of his best trade yet.

At times he looks like he could play 4 positions. Id like to see him really featured at some point of his career.

He would be the perfect starting 4 in Miami with his size and the ability to pass, defend pick and rolls/pops, rebound and hit open 3s. What about Joel Anthony for McRoberts, Bobcats fans? You can see Big Joel play with Biyombo.

How does any of this make my statement wrong?

I always wondered why the Lakers traded him those years ago. He was great and would be great today too.

McRoberts was compared to Chris Webber out of high school. He didn't pan out..but mostly cause he has confidence issues and lack of discipline. Every now and then he can flash skill and talent, but it's never consistent.
