ISH, I need some help with my Physics project!

I'm supposed to built a projectile launcher (trebuchet, catapult, flinger, etc) with the maximum dimensions of 30 inches by 30 inches. It's supposed to be able to fling a 16oz bean bag 20 feet. Now I'm not trying to blow my wallet here, but I want to build a substantial launcher. What would be the quickest and most efficient way of doing one?

Nikka I have a 94% right now and this shit is like 150 points. This is Accelerated Physics too so my teacher takes all our assignments seriously. I'm wondering if a wooden base, two planks on the sides, a bar in the middle and a spring-loaded launching pad would do the trick.

go to a home improvement store, buy some pvc pipes and couplers to rig up a stand, buy some silicone hose (type they use for sling shots) .then make yourself a stand with a slingshot. you can use a shirt to rig up the pouch that will hold the projectile. youll need to bring something heavy to hold down the stand while you launch it.

What you will need:

-paper mache
-wood
-large rubber bands
-towel


Make a large tube with the paper mache with an opening at the top, design it aerodynamically for maximum velocity. A dome at the top of the tube where the hole is would be perfect. Paint some lightning bolts on it to make it look cool also. Then rig it to a wood platform like a cannon with a rubber band slingshot attached to a towel at the bottom
