Maybe if he ends up on the market jan 7th. Then Oden and Bynum would try to neutralise Miami's only threat to not threepeat Roy Hibbolujawonealberlain.

nothing will happen except ppl will call them again as the most stacked team in history. but when asked if they would beat the Jordan Bulls, they would say Heat would lose. yet they're still the most stacked team in history. ever. that would always lose to legendary teams. go figure.

Your homerism goes to levels I didn't think was possible :oldlol:
We have seen time and time again how stacked this team is. Stop trying to downplay the fact the Heat have all the advantages over the last few years (injuries to most of their competition, resting up their stars because of their depth etc).

Yes, the Heat are the best team in basketball, that tends to be how it works with championship teams... in fact the only team I can think of in the last 20 years that wasn't "stacked" that won a ring was the 2011 Mavs, who just hit a ridiculously hot streak.
They've also been taken to 7 games by multiple teams, so it's nowhere as near as big of a difference as people would make believe.
Also, the only injuries of note are by superstars that the Heat readily beat in the playoffs when their teams where fully healthy (Bulls, Thunder).

Did you really go there with a Spurs comparison? really?
Old ass Duncan, Parker is solid, Splitter is worth the mention? :facepalm That team has some talent, but not Heat talent level, give me a break :oldlol: Pop is behind much of their success and it has little to do with the talent on that team, but more that players buy into his system and put the system and team first before individual glory. They use a number of screens, pick and roll to create an open shot and their ball movement is top notch. The last few years they have gone more uptempo and become a better offensive team because of it.
Clippers have equal talent to Heat, I wouldn't say more or less.
Heat have arguably 3 players better than Griffin and 2 players better than Paul. Then you get down to the role players, with Heat having slightly less talent but they have talented role player that perfectly fit their stars.

Our team is stacked because Lebron is on it. If you can't see that, then its on you. Its our biggest advantage.
Having a great coach is part of the team. Having the best coach in NBA history, Popovich, is part of it.
Most people on here think Duncan is better than Bosh. I'm not one of them, but it is what it is. So Duncan, Parker, Splitter, Leonard, Ginobili, etc is just as talented as the Heat.
Heat are the oldest team in the league, so... we're the ones running out of time.

I don't particularly care about the conversation, but...
Paul >>>>>> Chalmers
Wade >> Redick
Lebron >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dudley
Bosh > Griffin (seriously... one has a full offensive repertoire, the other has a mostly full. One plays D, one not so much)
Jordan >>> Battier
No science to the ">", but I tried showing the gaps. I matched up Bosh and Griffin because both are better than the other two... Battier/Jordan respectively.
Now the benches...
Beasley (scoring, rebounding), Allen (elite shooting), Cole (scoring, shooting), Anderson (elite energy, shot blocking), Haslem (glue guy)
vs...
Crawford (elite scorer), Collison (one of top backup PGs when backing up Paul), Barnes (one of my favorite role players; do it all kinda player), no one else worth mentioning.
Yeah, pretty sure the Heat win here, too. They have a legit 5 man bench rotation. The Clippers have 3 players worth mentioning. And the Heat's players know their roles, and fill them nearly perfectly, which is huge. The Clippers'? I don't watch them as much, but they must, considering the wins the team has.... but I still don't think the bench is as good as the Heat's.

poido is specifically being a little bitch about the cast surrounding Lebron. Westbrook and Durant are just about as good as Wade and Lebron, if it wasn't for the fact that Lebron is just that good.
OKC's supporting cast is just as good. Come on now. Reggie Jackson is one of the best backups in the league, Lamb is a good option off the bench, Adams gives them size, Ibaka is a great option to spread the floor and give you defense, etc.
The Thunder and Clippers have a lot less weaknesses than the Heat. People don't seem to realize that.
Lebron, Bosh and Wade are just that good they make up for it.
Heat get killed by any decent big man. What do the Thunder and Clippers give up? How about San Antonio? They don't.
Clippers, SA and OKC are just as stacked. I'm not arguing that the Heat aren't a good and loaded with talent team. They are. But they aren't the most stacked. Equally? Sure. But I'd take OKC's and Clippers cast around our best player, since I think they're better.

Heat have proven to win games when Lebron missed a game or two. It isn't the first time you should know that.
Bulls had a pretty good team backed by a good coach when Jordan didn't play, same thing, he had a fairly stacked team also. Which only further proves my point :confusedshrug:
I don't know about you, but Heat looked to be playing some really good ball without Lebron, Beating the Blazers on their home court, who were also playing well I might add, does not come from a team pulling off some kind of fluke. They are very good without Lebron too.

Rodman is better than Bosh. Has more impact in a game and would overpower Bosh in a game of basketball.
Pippen is an elite defender and arguably the best SF defender the game has seen. Wade is more dynamic offensively and can score at will.
Pick your poison, if you needed more offense for your team you would go with Wade. If you needed an elite defensive player, who is pretty solid on offense? you would go with Pippen. You overrate every damn player who plays for the Heat, no shit

Lebron would make the Bulls the best, because they need his offense. The Bulls parts do not translate to a functional offense capable of winning championships yet. They really do need that dynamic 2nd option scorer, before you say Boozer or Deng think about the word "dynamic".

If they get him, it'll just be the rich getting richer.
But if this lazy fck with 0 heart actually got himself kicked off the Cavs because he wanted to go to a contender, what's the difference between him and Fisher? He used his son as an excuse, which was likely legit for a few months. And now he is backup of the team with the best record.

Overpower can mean mentally intimidate, put a player off his game, or simply physically stronger. Rodman was stronger mentally and physically than Bosh, he would have Bosh off his game, like he did to many opponents in his day.
Rodman would abuse Bosh on the boards and throw bosh around like a ragdoll. Bosh might be better offensively, but I don't see him coming close to his averages on Rodman.
I don't mind conceding Wade to be slightly in front of Pippen, but it isn't a landslide.

Pacers for example have great options where Miami are weak. C and the forward spots are their strength. While Paul George is a budding superstar. Would anybody be surprised if Pacers knock off Miami? I wouldn't. If indy gets hca you have to love their chances.
