Who is he to say who the team can and cannot sign/waive. His brother is a scrub who got paid when he didnt deserve it and now he comes out with this?

How come every Knicks story requires seven separate threads on the same topic?

I'm guessing since Knicks couldn't sign JR to a bigger contract he decided to stay with them for a smaller contract with the promise of them picking up his brother.

Great athletes are going to be great athletes. They have superb talent and skills and athleticism.

But many athletes lack the mental discipline and morals as they make fast money at a young age and they get their way with things as they grow up being a star athlete. Specially for JR- he's only a HS graduate.

Do they know about life as much as they know about basketball? No. Are all of them good at being a leader? No. Are many of them young? Yes. Are all of them humans just like us that are learning life as it comes? Yes.

However, does the public hold them to high personal value and standard because of their talent and income? Yes.

Just a reminder that they're athletes, not Confucious students. When some of them make stupid statements and sound like a whining kid, we shouldn't be surprised.

And BTW the magazines and sports channels love this. They get to talk about it and make money. They're praying NBA players would say things like this. I bet they don't even care for JR to teach him to grow as a person so he can keep saying ridiculous things.

Not saying anyone is right or wrong. I just want to give this issue another perspective. Don't think like how they want us to think.

Someone needs to remind JR that the NBA is a business, not a marriage. One that has afforded him and his brother an extremely comfortable living. Shut up and do your job you tool.

Now he's trying to get back in the good books by posting this. Some people shouldn't be allowed access to social media.

His stock is at an all time low right now. Good luck with that...

to complete the "betrayal," the Knicks should just kick him to the curb and be done with him.

There were 2 threads on it.
