It wasn't long ago when he looked like the best big man in a playoff series against Miami and all of a sudden he's a scrub. I have no idea what happened.

Aged 5 years when he took off the green. I imagine it would be the same with Kobe and Duncan who have given so much to their franchises. They simply could not give as much to another team at this stage in their careers.

Miami makes every big they play against look like an all-star.

It's hard for anybody to give full effort when you are on the Nyets. It's obvious nobody on Kidd's team respects him.

He's about as close to done as it gets. Incapable on offense, not really impacting games on the defensive end either. He still rebounds at an elite level but that's about the only thing he has going for him. Probably should have just retired last year

When he got to Brooklyn he said to someone I know at Barclays (and also later to Bondy) when asked if he liked living in Brooklyn "WHY WOULD I WANT TO LIVE IN BROOKLYN? I WANT TO WIN A TITLE. I'M ONLY HERE TO PLAY BALL."
They have no chance at a title, so you would assume he's unhappy just the way his personality works. He's not comfortable in general outside his environment, and his sanctuary (the court) isn't one anymore.

He can't be upset if he's also a big reason. He's getting mins to shoot 37% at 6'11". He's good for a few rebounds and that's it. He's reminding me of what happened to Gerald Wallace last season except he doesn't play d like Wallace did.

You f*ckers are really trying to prop up Dirk and Duncan more because KG is declining in his 19th season?
Jesus Christ. People are allowed to age.
2 more seasons than Duncan
3 more than Dirk.
Thousands of minutes more than both of them.
Shittier teams = more attention focused on him while young.

Father time has been perforating KG for the past couple of years. Maybe KG just doesn't have the will anymore to get himself out of Time's hands and is ready for the big punch.

There's definitely a lack of effort on KG's part. He's rebounding at an elite level which is a good sign his athleticism isn't completely shot. He should be playing better defense...though I could see why he's not motivated to do so considering how bad his team is. His jumper also looks broken - should probably go through the post more until he gets that corrected.

He and Kidd are definitely on different pages. I think KG came in thinking he would have some influence and Kidd killed it - perhaps on some power control tip. The players don't play hard for Kidd.

KG and Pierce had good relationship with Frank, who got tossed aside. I can't imagine that helped build great trust between them and Kidd.
