Are us non-laker fans being unfair to him playing badly since he was still getting back? What do you guys think?

He is, all those minutes and seasons he has played are crashing down on him

He's a bum. He's done like that girls butt in Denver.

If he gets the proper rest for the remainder of the season and a full training camp over the summer, then the possibility is still out there.

he obviously has to have a less demanding role as far as his body is concerned, but he can still contribute. and i dont care who you are, there is no definitive answer out there yet, just angry haters and fans boys all speculating.

He has that Gary Payton & Karl Malone impact combined at best when they joined the Lakers now.

The FO has really got to step up their game now, or Kobe's last years will be wasted.

This/ 4th AllTime in scoring, 3rd All Time in playoff Scoring. Top 5 All Time in All NBA First Team and Defensive Team, and All Star selections. Top 8 in Titles won/Finals MVP totals... (What makes these impressive isn't only that Kobe did them, It's the names that top these categories inwhich makes these list impressive). Yeah, nothing left to prove.

Kobe is done and washed up. Team wouldn't make the playoffs with a healthy Kobe. Kobe can't lead a team like Shaq or Lebron with pure dominance to the playoffs 100% healthy.

I think last season pre-Achilles was truly the last time we saw Kobe being Kobe. I don't see him ever being able to put up those kinds of performances (like vs. Mavs, Raptors + gamewinner, etc.) He'll probably come back towards the end of February, finish out the season and then have one more go at it before hanging it up. I think he'll retire in 2015.

I would like to say he will be back to being "Kobe", but realistically speaking it's not very likely, which sucks.

He's done as an elite player, but he can be a serviciable 6th or 7th man ala Ray Allen.
