I'm at work and I can see this cop driving around in the parking lot with his lights turned off. I don't know what he's doing, but he's been doing it for about 5 minutes now. Seriously, guys. This same cop is still in the parking lot, with his lights turned off, occasionally driving around through the shady, dark parts of the parking lot.
I seriously don't know wtf he's up to, but I'm not about to confront him, even though this is private property. I don't want to end up getting shot for 'matching the description of a suspect.'
Seriously.

It's noon in the East coast and 9 AM on the West Coast. Why is it still dark in the parking lot?

Generally when someone starts sweating about the presence of the police it means they're guilty of something. If they weren't they'd just be aware that police are around. So, have you done something you shouldn't have?

I was thinking the same thing. Judging by his name he's in N.Y.? Didn't know its dark there.

Assume the position and prepare for insertion.
Even for a fake question this is stupid. You don't do anything. In what world do you go and stop the cops and make them tell you what they are doing?

They are either screwing around on their laptops or scanning plates. You know, their jobs

I called the police and they said that specific officer is doing "an investigation in the neighboring areas of the warehouse."
I said, "For someone doing an investigation of neighboring areas, he sure has been extremely focused on this warehouse." The bitch didn't have anything to say. Just started stammering while telling me that suspicious activity was reported in the location, so the officer is just doing a quick look around.
I then mentioned the 'quick look around' has been well over 30 minutes now, and she again didn't have shit to say.
I finally mentioned this is private property and I'd appreciate it if they asked him to leave. Hung up the phone.
About a minute later, the cop left.

Something tells me the presence of my brown skin was the 'suspicious activity' they were investigating.

The term "jobs" is pretty unfamiliar to Knicks.

Their partner was just late bringing the doughnuts and coffee. You know how their type meets driver door to driver door in parking lots to kill the time like that

if you havent done anything wrong, or dont have illegal materials on you, what is there to fear from cops?
I mean worst case they pat you down, and then you can lodge a compliant later if you want. Just dont resist the cops, they got guns.
