I find most of the high end specialty soda's overrated. Like Vernor's isn't reallly Ginger Ale to me, its more soda pop than Ginger Ale along the lines of Seagram's, Canada Dry, etc.

I had some i think Reed's Orange specialty soda and it was a little different but quite overhyped.

As for Root Beer i don't get it much but when i do i get MUG. i hate DrPepper's cherry taste and it doesn't have any of that froth taste MUG has a lot of. i'll try out this virgil's if i ever see it.

Then you haven't been trying Reed's cause that's REAL Ginger Ale versus those other guys. The ginger content is pretty potent. You can see actual flakes of ginger in the bottle.
