His body was actually metal if I recall correctly, I also loved the dinobot toys.

I also had some old gi joe toys, I don't think we had the show here and I always just thought they were generic army dudes but we used to make bases in the dirt and play with those. Made some elaborate shit by hammering nails into trees and using branches/bark and stuff to make structures.

Kids these days are spoilt, my niece has hundreds of toys already and won't ever appreciate them because you can walk into k-mart and buy things that I as a kid would have loved and would have cost $100s but is now 10 bucks. My sister bought my niece a motorized car for christmas, you sit in it and drive it around. I always wanted one as a kid but they were like $600, this one cost $40. She has so many toys it's just a different child hood with how cheap everything is.
