Playing in Denver in January may not be the advantage for Manning that it would be in October. His stats in really cold weather are not impressive.

Its his fault though. He has to run his route more inside so he can give the QB room between him and the sidelines...

he was in a tough position.

He was definitely in a tough position but when you're a bigtime receiver and on the sideline trying to make a big catch I figured the first instinct would be to drag the feet or at least make an attempt. The way he landed it's like he thought he was in-bounds for sure.

that was some weak sauce on the last chiefs possession. If he doesnt ground the ball, .... damn. what a shame for the chiefs.

He got bumped a little by the CB. He probably thought he had enough room on the sidelines

If it weren't for all the Chief's injuries, they would have won.
If it werent for one injury, forget the rest, they would have won. It was fun seeing Cyrus Gray (giggity gig em) get a couple of touches.

How can one franchise be so lucky? From Peyton Manning for God knows how many years to Andrew Luck now? It's like drafting Kobe first and then a young LeBron later on.

TheMarkMadsen
01-04-2014, 09:28 PM
that Luck fumble recovery..

if the ball doesn't bounce perfectly to Luck..

still tho how do you blow a 28 point lead in a playoff game

I think you're the 3rd or 4th person in this thread to state this. People are aware lol. One harmless football thread about an epic game isn't going to throw the NBA forum into chaos.

You must have not watched the Colts this much. The Colts are one of the most injury riddled team in the league...They lost their best WR, starting RB, starting TE, were missing Landry and countless guys on defense. Hell if anybody could injuries as an excuse it would be the Colts...

How do you blow that big a lead? Hats of to Luck, he's an amazing player and certainly no fault of the Chiefs offense and Alex Smith they did their part but man that's a ton of points to give up in one half

Last time Chiefs won in the post season Joe Montana was their QB
