Two of them came in losses, two of them in wins. The two losses from 2011 (Game 5) and 2013 (Game 1) the two wins from 2012 (Game 5) and 2013 (Game 6).

Kobe stans lose again.

Surprised not to see Kidd up there. He was a triple double machine back when he made those finals app. Quick check has him with 1 vs the Lakers, was 2 rebounds away from one against S.A one game, and an assist and two rebounds away in another game that series.

Guess because series are only 4-7 games but I would have thought 2-5 would have more than two.

The majority of those came in the Finals where he couldn't muster up 20 ppg, and anything more than 2 - 4 points per fourth quarter ... Am I correct, or what's up?

The Ray Allen game

If it weren't for Ray Allens miracle shot, Lebron would be 1-3 in finals games with triple doubles and 1-3 in Finals series in general :lol

False.

The only one that wasn't above 20 points was in 2011. When he recorded 17-10-10. As a matter of fact, two of them were 30+ points triple doubles.

Because we saw the game.

Were the 3 monster turnovers and 1-4 FG hypothetical?

Now go back and read what I was referring to by hypotheticals. The lack of reading comprehension here is alarming.

Those 2011 stats from LeBron are so empty, it's utterly pathetic. As usual, numbers never tell the whole story. Utterly embarrassing his 2007, 2011, and even the first 6 1/2 games of the 2013 Finals.

Did you watch the Finals? Game 4 was won in winning time vs Spurs starters thanks to D-Wade. LeBron padded the shit out of his stats that game well after it had been decided.

Wade had the better game, but that doesn't mean he played bad. His jumper was falling that game, and he wasn't struggling offensively like he was in game 2, 3, and 5.

don't let those box scores fool you

Game 1 was a good example of how Lebrons stats don't always reflect his dominance.

Game 4 was D wades game with Lebron padding his stats when the game was already in hand

OT of game 6 & game 7 was nice tho

I saw every single game so I'm not basing anything off stats. Game 4 was Wade's game. I already said that. Doesn't mean he played bad.

Game 6, he struggled for the first three quarters and finally got going in the 4th. If I was going to rate his games from best to worst, I'd say they were games 7, 6, 4, 1. The others aren't worth mentioning.

Obviously this list doesn't include blocked shots.

I believe that Chamberlain had FOUR triple-doubles in the '67 Finals (including one quad.) And, he had a known one in the '69 Finals. And in the "official" stat line in game five of the '72 Finals he was credited with 10 blocks (although actual footage indicates it was "only" 8.) That would give Chamberlain at least six. And I suspect had we had block numbers from his '64 Finals, he likely would have had a couple more.

BTW, using blocks, and I suspect that Russell had more than just two triple-doubles, as well. Given that he was in 12 Finals, I suspect that he is probably the all-time leader.
