Pretty sure everyone in this board has played ball before, man. They probably didn't play it at the level you may have. That pass looked pretty impressive, especially from that angle.

Played in a team environment for 12 years.. that pass was brilliant and perfectly executed.

There's a reason why you google "Big Fundamental" and Tim Duncan's face shows up.

That pass is nothing short of  and his game is full of small perfections like that.

Anyone could write a decent basketball textbook just by studying Duncan alone.

That was simply amazing.

Or soccer; that's just a regular throw in.

That was a great pass, but it wasnt an intentional curveball, so OP is misleading. I hoped to see short range curveball dodging defenders (now that would be something), soccer superstars can do this.

If you're so unimpressed, then by all means, post a YouTube clip of you making that same pass to a friend (you can remove the defense if you want) three times in a row.

Yes, regular full-court pass, and ball slightly changed direction over distance, you can see it all the time.

It's not even remotely close to a curve ball. Don't let the camera angle deceive you.

Just look at the way he threw the ball. It was just a great pass. But I wouldn't call it a curveball.

Get on youtube and watch hundreds of actual curveball videos, example - type "basketball curveball" and watch the very first video:

Now thats how curveball looks like, and that was actually impressive skill. I remember Bird doing it, some other superstars, and I hoped to see Timmy doing something like this, but I got duped by OP :(

The curve was unintentional (and it's most likely 90% visual effect, it's a ****ing gif with an awkward angle for ****'s sake)

The legth is laughable. My comment was about the length.

He should be able to throw it that way twice the length of a NBA court if he actually had the craft to do it. It's not strength. Girls and kids do it with a lighter ball and half the size of Tim.

C'mon people. It's a decent pass nothing more nothing less. Full court passes are pretty basic...especially for an NBA player.

It doesn't curve. Duncan throws it from a slight angle and the camera makes it appear to curve.
