1. Durant
2. LeBron
3. Cp3
4. Curry
5. George

Thoughts? I mean the only spot set in stone is number 1, Durant's been far ahead of neone this season, but it seems 3-5 are interchangeable.

1. Lebron

2. Kevin Durant
3. Chris Paul
4. Paul George
5. Lamarcus Aldridge

only number one is set in stone obviously

Lebron still first, he just doesnt have to try that hard and can coast in a stacked team. Durant has to play out of his mind for OKC to win.

1. LeBron
2. Durant

Those are they only ones set in stone.

Sorry, Durant has been way more dominant throughout the year than Bron. Not only avg more ppg, reb, stls, blk, ft% than LeBron, he's also took his team to a better record in a stronger conference. Also 12 30-5-5 games vs LeBron's 4.....Heat can win games with LeBron scoring 15pts takin 13shots and even when he's not playing.

Not even debatable If your looking at it honestly and factually and not brainwashed by ESPN.

Paul George extremely overrated in my opinion.

LeBron's overall dominance over the past 5 years (4 mvps, 2 fmvps) counts more than Durant's in the past 30 or so regular season games.

If you say 'top 5 players in the NBA so far this year', then sure Durant is at the top. But this is not what you said. Lest we forget that Durant has started off frontrunner I the MVP race the past 3 seasons and fallen off after the all star break. While I definitely believe he'll win it this year, it really doesn't mean that much when Bron will amp it up in the playoffs.

i'm not even much of a lebron fan but it's impossible to argue that he's been the best player in the league for the last few years

I think that's fair. Durant has been playing better than anybody this season. I don't even think that's arguable.

I'm just saying that I don't really think 30 or so regular season games means that much. LeBron is still the better player overall taking into account his unmatched dominance over the past few regular and post seasons. Until I see a decline when it matters most, I really don't care if LeBron doesn't play up to the level he's shown previously. His goal is clearly the 3 peat and when you're guaranteed a top 2 seed in the conference, playing max intensity now isn't really a priority.

I've always like his game, but dang CP3 is overrated around here.

Current KD shouldn't be in the same zip code, let alone sentence as the current CP3. It's not a rip on CP3, Durant is just that special.

On the topic of Lebron/KD, imo: You still gotta put Lebron at #1, based on the past and what we've yet to see this year in the playoffs, but make no mistake KD is coming FAST.

And this is all I'm saying.......Talking about last 5 years and other shit before this season has nothing to do with who's been the top 5 players this season. Durant is clearly num 1. His pure dominance shows it and he has the facts to back it up.

Dwight-13/10 3 blocks 57% shoot (5-13 FT) in a loss

I disagree, considering CP3 is not only the best offensive player at the most stacked position in the NBA, but also arguably the best defensive player at that position shows that hes definitely in the same tier as Durant and if he gives us another 20 and 10 all defensive team season he could potentially pass Durant but I doubt it with the performance Durant has been putting on lately.

people saying lebron is better than durant is like saying bird is better than jordan. stats says bird but impact says otherwise. Lebron in fact has to form a superteam coz he sees durant as a serious threat to not only him but to the GOaT title
