That off the backboard alleyoop by Steph Curry.... wtf... that's the most creative original thing i've seen since MJ's dunk on ewing.

Curry is not playing around man

how was MJ's dunk on Ewing creative? :confusedshrug: pretty sure i saw plenty of plays more creative than that.

if it was pool I would have called "slop." Pretty play though.

I just wonder if Curry meant that to be a normal alleyoop but Bogut was too late to it, instead it became an off the backboard alley oop.

That totally slipped out of his hands, but it was great.

I don't think so, Curry's passing was pretty sloppy all night and he attempted an alley-oop a possession or two after this that just looked dreadful.

It was supposed to be a regular pass, not even an alley-oop... but it slipped. Amazing play from Bogut though.

If anything, Bogut made that play. It was a errant pass by Steph, that luckily went where it did and Bogut made the play.

I don't think he did it on purpose.

Also, the only thing close to this that i can remember happening in a real game (not an all star game) is penny hardaway passing the ball to shaq off the back-board in a half-court set. From what i remember the defender was fronting Shaq and Penny couldn't find a regular angle to pass him the ball...so then he decided he could throw it off the backboard and it could get to shaq that way.

If anyone has video of this, drop the link.

KOBE doesn't even need anyone else for this play. It's one of his signature moves.

I don't remember this play, but Dennis Johnson made a similar pass to Bird. Defense was fronting Bird and DJ gave him a pass off the backboard from the 3 point line.

Kobe thought process: "Why pass it to others... when I can just pass it to myself!"

43% shooting. Not efficient enough.

I was thinking of the same thing. DJ and Bird ran that play quite often (especially coming out of timeouts) so I always assumed it was planned and practiced (just the simple fact that Parrish/McHale would clear out of the paint.

The Curry/Bogut play, though a bit serendipitous, was great though.

Curry/Bogut pass angle was fantastic but it wasnt original nor was it the best this season.

This one is still the best
