Update: Michael Bay has written about the experience on his blog. Here's his take on the matter.

Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES - I was about to speak for Samsung for this awesome Curved 105-inch UHD TV. I rarely lend my name to any products, but this one is just stellar. I got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the Exec VP's intro line and then the teleprompter got lost. Then the prompter went up and down - then I walked off. I guess live shows aren't my thing.

It aint even that.

He just makes bad films. Not gonna lie, a few are enjoyable, but his scripts are the epitome of bad, his directing is bad as well because he doesn't even shoot action scenes properly half the time.

Aside from that, his films are littered with bigoted stereotypes, and corny jokes. His films are basically aimed at 12 year old boys.

There's good action film directors and films that don't aren't all dark and serious. His films aren't that, and he aint a good director.
