Saw them play a park in Bed Stuy a couple of years ago. We had an earlier event and didn't even leave my house until about a well after show time. Worried that the show would mostly over by the time we got there. We got there very late and it was a looooooong time before George Clinton took the stage. Probably an hour and 45 minutes into the concert. On a Monday night.

I was like, damn George, I like me a P-funk party as nearly much as the next guy, but I got work in the morning.
