You have a swiss knife, volleyball/basketball (ala Wilson), and some first aid medical kit.

F*ck no, I'd die after 3 days. I have no valuable skills whatsoever.

I'm Insanely accident prone. It wouldn't be long before a tree falls on me or I slip on some rocks and get eaten alive by a friendly dolphin pod. I'd give myself a week tops.
I'll consider it a vacation.

I think one's survival instincts kick in.
Even if one doesn't have any sort of training or knowledge one will find a way to survive at all costs.
We hear of amazing survival stories and Im sure those people never thought they'd do some of the things that they did to survive. Like cutting off your own hand, drinking your own urine, eating weird animals and insects.
I think most of us have seen enough survival scenarios in our lifetime (mostly through tv shows and movies) that we'd find some type of way to survive.
I've never made a home out of branches and twigs, but I've seen enough Survivalman and Bear shows to find a way to make shit work.
At least I hope that'd be the case.

Yeah, then by the time someone finds you and tries to rescue you, ur as wild as a hippopotamus, basically having gone mentally insane, and you bite the man's head off:biggums:

Are there many coconuts? I'm not good at fishing.

Hunting / fishing would probably be my biggest weakness... and that's not a good weakness to have on a deserted island.

depends on the wildlife there, if it is teaming with poisonous insects and reptiles or large predators then maybe not.

Id like to think I could do it, a knife makes it a lot easier.
Id think the more difficult part would be resisting a cold.

I'd probably die of some kind of infection after getting horribly sunburned.

I would kill Tom Hanks with the knife and throw away the medical kit. Then I would eat him while Wilson watched, just so Wilson would know that I'm not fukcin around. Next step would be to (once I master my developing ability to reproduce by budding) (re)populate the island and set up a civilization that is completely isolated from outsiders (a la the Sentinelese).

Since I've seen Castaway a few times, I'd probably imitate his movements, except I'd be quicker about it. I'd just build myself a raft ASAP and then have a random ship pick me up. They'd hail me a hero for surviving 5 hours on a deserted island.
With my health issues? F*ck no, I'd die pretty quickly. Given good health going in, I'd have a fighting chance. I don't think I'd be able to build a raft I could survive the ocean with though.

Well, Im good with the nature and I spent my whole childhood outside, in the woods, everywhere, building stuff and the rest. Yeah, I think, I could survive for some time till going crazy.

I've watched a lot of those survival shows, but without knowledge of the local flora and fauna of the area I don't think I'd have a great chance at surviving a long time. It would depend on what the island has to offer.
Doubt it. Cant say for how long because I think we would react much different in that situation than sitting here trying to guess. But I would be surprised at myself if I survived like he did. Which I dont remember. Havent watched that movie in so long I dont remember much of it.

We would all die. Even Tom hanks. Don't forget how lucky he was in the movie always finding something useful at the last second... and it was still a movie. In real life, you'd get some disease from malnutrition after a couple of weeks and just die.

on a tropical island? all those fruits vegetables and fish if you had all of those you'd probably be eating healthier than you are now(not you in particular just americans in general). on a side note there is trash everywhere, survivor man said he's never been somewhere when he hasn't found trash that you can use to your advantage. you can make fishing hooks out of soda tabs.
