Love would be a great fit on the Lakers. Unfortunately whilst Kobe is around he will get a lot of shit if they come up short eg: Gasol. Westbrook could be in the Lakers future as well.

KLove is always welcome to the Los Angeles Lakers. He better take a paycut, though. $5m/year sounds fair to me.

Love has to take a paycut but Kobe gets all his money? hmm

Lakers offered Kobe a retarded contract; I don't blame Kobe for accepting it.
Because Kobe's contract is so huge, Love won't be able to sign for a huge contract, too, without disrupting our chances of signing other potential stars.

Also, I was joking.

if minny realizes this, they'll trade him before the deadline. lakers don't have the assets to get a deal done, simple as that. no chance lakers get him if he doesn't hit free agency.

Lakers will be the favorites to land him should he become a free agent, but Wolves aren't letting him go for nothing.
He'll get traded to any team who wants to gamble on him, unless of course he pulls a Dwight where he specifically name a team he wants to play in.

Good luck trading him when he wants to go to the Lakers. If Minny was smart they'd trade him this season.

Kobe will only have one year left when Love is eligible to sign. What's the problem with skimping the first year and giving Love a significant raise in the 2nd year?
