Looked into it. It looked like 1 known troll with a tiny bit of rep power negged you after you didn't hesitate to call him "fgt" because he jokingly said "gimme your lunch money." Not sure if you were negged beyond that, but after you denied being an alt, a poster dropped accusing you of being an alt and tried engaging genuinely by asking where you are from, but instead of engaging genuinely back, you decided that you are from "Lebronville" instead.

So, going into the thread and being quick to call somebody a "fgt" for jokingly saying "gimme your lunch money" and refusing to engage genuinely by instead responding like an alt would is a little more than just introducing yourself. It is far from the worst crime somebody can commit on ISH, but you are being a little sensitive and downplaying your role in that thread.

i've seen some posters with red bars that are pretty smart

i still can't understand why ppl put so much stock in these

knowing:

1. just one gank negging can put a quality poster into 4 bars of red
2. there are a lot of idiotic posters with a long saber of green (which they got from abusing the rep system in the OTC)
3. anybody can create an account farming rep then abuse the system at will
4. idiots move in group and are more likely to neg rep than smart posters. the smarter ones don't even care to neg rep.

threads also get derailed by posters invoking rep status instead of just discussing the topic at hand (this in combination with accusation of sock accounts)

i mean, what does it matter really what the poster's rep status is or if he has a number of sock accounts? it's his arguments in his post that count. judge each post individually.
