Yeah, I couldn't find an updated injury list for them. Strangely, the ESPN preview said nothing of their injuries. Was about 90% talk of the Spurs.

I dont see him enough, but the difference is that Dengs team NEEDS him to be a scorer. Leonard seems to be able to just play cameo roles. Not knocking him either.

Leonard is a great complimentary player, and in my opinion has an edge on Deng because of his athleticism and playmaking ability. Problem is he's barely a top 5 offensive option on the team and he doesn't play a whole lot of minutes. On another team I could see him being a 20-8 a night guy, but he is patiently waiting for his time to shine in San Antonio.

Well the ref under the basket didn't call anything, but the ref at half court did. Must have had a horrible angle. But it's not his place to call a foul in the paint from where he was.

Pelicans fans should be excited about this team going forward. I don't think Holiday/Gordon/Evans is going to work long term though, should flip one of those players for a veteran.

Trade Gordon for expiring + picks and sign Deng in the offseason and they could really make some noise. In fact, if they think Deng won't resign in Cleveland just do the trade straight up.
