I thought for a little while, but couldn't come up with a better player to compare Davis with. He can't pass like KG, but there are still lots of unarguable similiraties in their games.

From the few games I've seen of him (this season), he seems more Duncan-ish than KG-ish. But idk.

Why compare prime KG to Davis playing just his second season? look up KG's stats from his first two years and compare them to Davis'. And age too.

two absolutely IDENTICAL players do not exist. No doubt Davis's all-around game isn't as good as Garnett's (at this point it is so and we can't know the future), nonetheless they do have similaraties.

We've never seen a player quite like him. The way he plays defense is similarly to Garnett, Hakeem, Russell by all accounts, but he's not quite the same as those three. Limitless potential, but I still can't quite put my finger on it.

Dude is already incredibly underrated on this board (just as the three above whom I mentioned are). Guess guys don't like uber-mobile defenders.

I was going to say something along these lines (not counting the part of giannis logically), I think 25 ppg and 5 apg are very high numbers for kid

He won't average those numbers, but take into consideration that both Duncan and KG played against each other and Shaq and Yao on a weekly basis. Davis plays against basically no one. Although that may change in the near future.

03 Duncan in this league would easily average 25/14/3.

Very high numbers, yes and IDK if he'll reach them BUT given his skillset, if he maximizes his potential I don't think they're out of the question. He's averaging 20/10 while leading the league in blocks as he is now.

I could see a scenario where he becomes the best/most impactful player in the league, but health, work ethic, and desire to be great matter a ton in that scenario.
