Westbrook is a very valuable player... top 3 most valuable in the league...

What's the problem?

And out of those 19 games, OKC has played 11 playoff teams.
Lebron is 4-5 without Wade this year having played 2 playoff teams, Toronto and Atlanta

Understand how many others let it go but you couldn't. Look at those names and remember how easy you are.

Sure, your missing a top tier player in Westbrook OKC fans, but weren't you saying how your team is as deep and as talented as it had ever been? Aren't Lamb, Jackson and Steven Adams worth more than Harden?

Not hating on OKC, just mentioning it.

Westbrook is a much, much better passer/play-maker than Durant is.

So it's no surprise.

I'm not one of the guys who said that, but I do agree that we are deep and very talented. When you lose a guy like Westbrook it affects everything, especially our rotations. You have to move Jackson to the starting lineup and now old man Fisher is running the 2nd unit. It's like apples and oranges. And it doesn't help when you have a coach that doesn't know how to make adjustments. We're still deep and talented, but a few roles have changed and our coach/players haven't adjusted.

They have no 3rd option, Jackson/Ibaka are at best 4th options on any decent team and on most lottery teams with Westbrook out that means they have no 2nd or 3rd option in the line up and have to rely on there D more than ever.

Durant and Westbrook are both top 10 players in the league. Okc really doesn't have much talent on their roster besides those two, and would probably be below .500 with either one of them missing. As long as they're in the western conference anyway...

What's the problem? Of course this would happen and should be expected.
OKC without Westbrook: 1 single star in the west
Heat without Wade: still 2 all stars which is better than 90% of teams in East

It's expected that OKC would lose more games, while it's hilarious Heat without Wade are losing to Eastern teams

i'm still of the opinion losing Westbrook wouldn't hurt this much if OKC still had Harden.

Considering all the negative crap Westbrook's had to endure over the years about his game, about 50% of the media and 50% of the posters here need to keep their negative spewing yaps shut about him going forward.

It's pretty clear. With Westbrook title contenders. Without Westbrook borderline playoff team at best.

maybe if durant stopped taking 30+ shots every game and helped his teammates more, they can win again.

Agreed. Be a more all-around player. Utilize Westbrook like a top 3 PG.

It's not so much about Westbrook, but it's about having a second scoring option. As it stands Durant is without a guy that can also score 20 on any given night. Harden was that guy before, then it was Martin.

The Thunder badly need a guy like Afflalo.

Westbrook is a top 2 point guard in the league and allows Durant the space to be Durant. OKC looks and plays completely different with their second best player. Obvious is obvious.

As a Lebron stan, I hope Westbrook makes it back healthy, continues his career, and fulfills his potential. I hate OKC, since they stole the Sonics and will never root for them, but watching Westbrook and Durant is something special to be appreciated by a basketball fan.

Without Harden but with Westbrook they look just as good as they did the last year with Harden.

What's going on doesn't say anything about Harden. It does say a lot about Westbrook though.

not a single person who understands anything about basketball is or should be surprised by this. westbrook is a great player, and his team struggles without him. GO FIGURE.

really though him going down is a bummer. the league just isn't as fun without goatbrook

I know, when WB is healthy they don't miss a step (or are even better?) I just meant to say OKC would be in a better position right now and last year vs. Grizz had they kept him. I realize it's an unfair comparison though.
