Been addicted to them ever since I've tried it. I have this app called Podcast Addict give it a try it's really good.

My favorite one has been the Joe Rogan Experience. Does anyone recommend something similar to this? What about comedy and shit.

Going to be commuting a lot since college started, need a few good ones. Post your favorite podcasts.

Since you must be acquainted with JRE, you must know Hardcore History by Dan Carlin. It's the best thing since sliced bread... I'm planning to do a promotion thread on it one day.

Basically it's a guy telling you history stories in a exciting way, discussing theories, his own perceptions of how it went down, etc.

Most recent is the first part on WWI called Blueprint for Armageddon, truly the great episode and probably the best one yet. It deals with how it was the point where war was in a way inevitable, then what plans Germans had in it, and covers the very opening of Germany marching through Belgium.

You can listen to it for free, and then put donation according to how excited you got.

I really should make a proper promotion thread though.

You know the real OG's of ISH were putting folks onto Hardcore History before Joe Rogan:

WTF with Marc Maron

He did a cool one with Will Ferrell recently. The interviews are usually pretty good and it is hilarious to hear the pain in Marc's voice when he talks to former SNLers about Lorne Michaels.

He's incredible no matter what he does but the podcast style seems to suit him very well.

Joe Rogan podcast, check it out! Wait you already did. Hmmm. I know you said you want some comedy but give this a try: Hardcore history by Dan Carlin. Listen to his chapters on Ghengis Khan. It will interest you more than anything they taught you at school. But if you want some comedy just listen to some Rogans buddies. Bertcast, Skeptic tank, The church of what's happening now, and of course my favorite one: Duncan Trussell family hour. I suggest you listen to the one with Duncan and his mother(who is terminally ill). It' has some of the most touching and realistic moments I've ever heard in my life. I listen to some other ones but I don't think they would intrest you. Anyways...have funny listening to these great podcasts!
Do, continue. I don't mind your taste at all.

I updated my app (podcast addict which is definitely the best app I've found for podcast on android) to everyone who provided their podcasts. Thanks. Continue the thread for sure.
