Obviously we know when we signed up at this specific iteration of ISH but there was the old EZboard before this and I'm pretty sure there was a different site before that one.

I first found ISH when looking for info on the Mavs possibly signing away Rashard Lewis from Seattle in 2002. I forget exactly when I signed up for the ezboard there but I'm fairly certain I was a lurker for about a year before I finally jumped in.

not really sure. I was around for all of the items in the OP though. I originally found ISH looking up mock drafts, lurked for a little bit (maybe a year) and then joined it.

Not really sure why I stick around, but its a habit by now. The bball talk is mostly childish and uninformed. OTC can still be fun, but I find myself participating less and less.

Like you OP, I've been here 13 years. The carnage for me began around the first quarter of 2001. Even way back when, way back then, it was a match made in message board heaven. Whether or not it was known then, regardless, in time, the poster behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (ezboard), the one behind Grand Villain, Legend of Josh, e-Thugstylez, Wizardly Cool among others eventually manifested into the bahhhhhhhh bahhhhhhhh with horns.
