Wade is the one who seems to be perpetually sore now.
He can have a vintage Flash night every once in a while, but he looks really bad out there especially last night, it was scary.

Pacer fans are shook right now! :lol Hibbert will go back to looking like the offensive scrub that he is as Oden humiliates him on the biggest stage.

Yeah it will. The Heat really only need him for the series vs. Pacers. If he can give them 10-15 solid minutes he can sit out the rest of the damn playoffs.

This I do not understand. Hibbert averaged 40 MPG in the ECF last year, so what is Miami going to do for the other 25-30 minutes Oden isn't on the floor (assuming he's even healthy enough to play if/when the two teams meet up again this year)?

hibbert played 40mpg and they still lost the to heat.

imagine if they can stop hibbert for atleast 15-20 minutes. he wont be getting in rhythm like usual either.

I made a prediction that Dwyane Wade's body won't make it through the season. Is that irrational at all? Same for Oden, who is as fragile as glass. If you play the guy 20 minutes a night there will be issues.

Actually, you did say that if Bosh or Wade got injured, this season would get more interesting. That s kind of wishing for a major injury to a Heat player.

I'm not blatantly coming out and saying I want them to tear ACLs or break arms or anything like that. :oldlol: But who can deny that an injury to either one wouldn't even the playing field for the rest of the league?

We don't want to have predicting an injury thread on here..it's just not right so I have re-named this thread for that reason. 9 times out of 10 we Normally lock or delete threads that talk about predicting an injury.

That was when I made a thread claiming that I thought the Pacers might endure a season ending injury to one of their stars, allowing an easier path for the Heat to the Finals...

Talk about backfire. Nice try though.

I can admit when I'm wrong. I'm just impressed someone one here remembered something I said six months ago. :oldlol:

I was mad then, obviously. But that shouldn't be used as a reason to discredit my opinions now. I honestly think a Wade or Bosh injury would make this season a hell of a lot more interesting.

I was surprised to head that Oden would suit up and play. Considering it's the middle of January, I didn't know if it's really the best time to have him come out there. But this makes me optimistic and excited going forward. In 3 and a half months Oden should be ready to play 20+ a night. If Miami lands Bynum it'll take off some pressure.

Play him once or twice a week until march, and build up his minutes.

Eventually he could probably go 15 minutes a game, no back to backs obviously.

Yes they are, George and Stephenson got better plus they improved their bench (Granger, Scola). If the Pacers play LeBron like the Mavs and Spurs did (daring him to shoot) they will win in 5.

Everyone who isn't critical of LeBron and his team is a Heat stan, but you're not overreacting.

Are you actually mentally disabled? What is your argument even about? If player x wasn't around, this wouldn't be that way. Really? What an absolutely fascinating thing to contemplate.

There's no argument even being made is the thing... A simple true statement made by me led to a bunch of Heat Stan's bitching. All I'm trying to do is defend one unharming comment I made and what do you know an overreaction by the guy who is claiming that Heat stans don't overreact. :facepalm

I hope the Heat role players break his shooting arms. That's gonna prevent him from leading the league in shot jacking per game. I hope Bynum get traded next week. He's gonna average over 22 ppg with the Orlando Magic. Poor Dwight Howard. I don't think he's gonna average over 16 ppg with the Lakers.

One of the strongest dudes to ever step on a basketball court. Its nuts how big and strong this guy is. He has so much Shaq about him in the way he moves and plays. Obviously not as offensively gifted, but hes far more active on the defensive end than Shaq ever was.

Its crazy watching someone that strong play basketball. Haven't seen it since Shaq.

Probably not, 8 minutes of basketball won't cut it in the play offs.

FAIL

8 minutes from him / 15 minutes from Birdman and 28 +/- from Bosh wins the EAST...

If their plan holds up .. he will probably play about 12 minutes and it will all matter in the flow of the game.

Important part in the playoff's is flow , and Oden can change the flow for better or worse , depending on foul trouble.
