I just bought a G-Shock watch

I just finished an NFL pick 'em pool and came 14th out of 320+ players and won a cool $225 (I won another $200 for coming in second one of the weeks, entrance was $100)
I thought I'd buy myself something as a reminder of a successful NFL pool season, the first I've ever played.

I bought myself a G-Shock. This exact one:

I've always wanted one. Good solid digital watch that is relatively inexpensive. Anyone else have a G-Shock? They used to be crazy popular about 17 years ago. The Baby-G's especially. Even dudes were sporting the Baby-G. I don't know if they are trendy now but I've been eying one for about a few months now, I figure I have money to splurge and wear it as a trophy.

I got it because of the quality and price for a digital. Shock proof, water proof, all the things I need for a rugged man like me

I also need a g shock for every day use, my girl got me a swatch for every day use but I need something new. I bust this out everyone's eyes are on it and my friends always bring it up. I'm not a watch guy, just decided to get something nice at the time. Whenever I get a job I'm definitely getting better watches and a Movado.

I just realized. I got a complement from someone I can't remember who. Someone had asked me for a time and I had my S4 in my hands and instead of looking at my phone I turned to my watch instead. I actually use my watch for time the funny thing is. I wouldn't just wear it to wear it. Fake diamonds are the wrong terminology. Anyone who knows diamonds clearly would know those aren't fully diamonds otherwise that'll be a $10k + watch easily. It's Swarovski crystals and each have a cut of diamond in it.

Movado watches are easily as expensive if not more because of the cut of the diamond, a single cut of a diamond in a movado watch can easily run the watch to $1,000.

I don't have GSchock but for the price it seems very durable.

Well I got mine for $80. I bike 4 times a week either through trails, to the gym, or to play basketball. I can use the timer when I do circuit training. The digital is appealing to my son as well. I think I got the best one for me.
