you gays may laugh all you want about alphas and betas but that team in houston is nothing short of a beta summit with serious choking problems, this 2nd half drop-off record being a prime example. harden and howards previous accolades in this department speak for themselves. im dead serious when i say a lot more psycho analysis should be done when assembling teams, pat riley doesnt pick up the phone with just a stat sheet in hand, the guy knows how this works..

3 point spam fail. :oldlol:

Most teams today just spam 3s or drive to the basket, we rarely see a good mid range jumpers and post moves anymore.

Not sure about half but I believe one team beat another team only scoring 20 something points the whole game. So has to be pretty low

Houston had to resort to outside shooting due to the presence of the Dwight Stopper inside the paint :pimp:

Would still beat OKC in a series.

The problem with Houston begins and ends with Harden. Because he relies on free throws for the majority of his scoring, he has no control over how he can impact a game. It's all up to the refs. We've seen this in the playoffs too. Against the Spurs in 2012, he looked dominant with the way the officials were calling a foul on any opposing player coming in close proximity of him. As soon as he played a team the officials like even more than his own(Heat), Harden was exposed as a fraud. The Heat were allowed to play him more physical and Harden couldn't adjust. Harden's the type of player that wouldn't even be a superstar in the early 2000s.

Keep dreaming. They are 0-2 so far this year against the Thunder. Tonight without Westbrook. Houston isn't going anywhere in the playoffs and tonight proved it.

thats what they get for not playing Lin, and of course having the Duo of Harden and Dwight

I like how people tried to blame the loss on Lin (granted, he didn't play very well in this game) when McHale only played him 24 minutes and keeps him on a short leash and when Max Contract Harden went 6-16 and $20mil Dwight went 5-13 :facepalm

The 19-18 game that the great Mikan was a part of. He was so dominant that the other team wouldn't shoot the ball so Mikan couldn't have a chance to score on offense.
