Yes this is true, but Wade 2006 Finals run was at an all-time great level even with all FT gifts. Wade played well enough to be legit 2011 Finals MVP, but unfortunately we all saw what happened that series. Wade career wise is better player than Lebron historically when comes to the Finals.

Rings after leaving your team to join 2 allstars are tainted and not as good as Kobe's tbh. You could say Lebron won a -1 championship in 2011 tbh.

Kobe: 5 rings
LeBron: 2 rings

but wait....

3 of Kobe's rings were sidekick rings therefore they count as half. His 2004 debacle also takes away at least half a ring.

Kobe is sitting at 3 rings, which is pretty good!

LeBron's 2007 Finals appearance carrying scrubs to that level is a very big achievement. He had no other all-nba players on his team. That's at least another extra ring, if we're being objective.

In 2011, LeBron received way too much hate, did not get his deserved MVP and still carried a new franchise to another Finals. That's at least another ring to his count.

End result is looking like:

Kobe = 3 rings
LeBron = 4 rings

4 > 3

Let's not ever discuss this again.

So Kobe's first 3 rings are tainted? Shaq left his team and joined several all stars on the Lakers, before going on to win 3 rings for Kobe. At least Kobe stans are finally admitting that Kobe's early career rings are meaningless. :lol

You forgot to mention the 2002 rigged WCF series against the Kings. So in reality Kobe only has 2 rings.

What about the fact that any all-star wing from that era could have won a title with peak Shaq? Let's be real, Kobe has 1 ring, at best. :biggums:

Kobe has been on the Lakers since day 1 so no. And the only ring you can really belittled for Kobe is '00; in '01 and '02 Kobe was doing work against San antonio and Sacramento. Lebron actually left his team in his prime to join an alpha superstar and another allstar that came off a 24/11 on 52%/36% season before Lebron made him into a role player.

Kobe Bryant career Finals statistics
24.7 PPG 5.2 RPG 5.0 APG 1.75 SPG 0.89 BPG 323-784 FG 41.1% 213-248 85.8% FT

how is that garbage?

His production was good enough to win 5 out of 7 Finals.

Not true. Maybe 2000 I guess. 01 and 02, kobe wasnt just an all star, He was an elite defnder and scorer. Even phil commented on how much he was asking from kobe as not only a scorer but facilitator and playmaker. Kobe was the real pg on that team. Fisher was only the pg as a formality. Not many all star winGS would have cut it. Maybe mcgrady. That's it.

Look at how my thread turned into another Kobe vs Lebron thread. Most people knows that Kobe > Lebron, and the stat that I found running around the net says that D-Wade is a better finals performer than Lebron. Why most of these so called Miami fans hating on their own boy D-Wade tho? :oldlol:
